A cache is an object ( like a tupperware container or a small/large metal container) that you have placed at a location hidden well in the city, rural community or out in a forest. The cache container holds trading items. If you find a cache then you must always trade equal to the item you take or try and leave something better.
The cache holds travel bugs as well (usually with hitchikers and their described journey) which are registered with Geocaching.com.
The cache location is then registered with Geocaching.com and the coordinates to the cache location are listed there.
You then try to locate the cache by putting the coordinates into your GPS and then following the direction the GPS indicates.
