I have traded with many Postcard collecters so far and it usually works that I send 5 new, single-view mint-condition postcards of the San Francisco Bay Area region, including cityviews, scenics, monuments like Alcatraz and the Golden Gate, Stadiums, California Missions and Standford University in exchange of the frontpage of your area's newspapers (I collect daily and weeklies) I usually ask for two or three newspapers and I only need the first page so you can cut off the backpage to save weight and postage. You can also fold the newspapers as much as you need to make it fit into a smaller envelope, just please do not rip it. If you are interested, please e-mail me.
