B: "What?"
C: "What?"
B: "You're staring at me."
C: "You're very beautiful."
B: "All right. Rule number 1: no personal stuff.
No sex stuff. Don't tell me I look nice, don't tell
me I smell good. Don't mess with me, period."
C: "When I say you're beautiful, I don't mean you're
beautiful in a sexual way. I mean you're beautiful like
the night skies are beautiful, like birds in flight are
beautiful." [the pilot]

B: (when David crosses the street without neither looking
left nor right) "Creegan! What are you, crazy?" [the pilot]

B: (about the possibility that the missing boys are in the
suspect's house) "Statistically they're already dead."
C: "Well, you're a ray of sunshine, aren't you." [the pilot]

C: "You should ... trust your instincts more."
B: "Thanks, Sir Alec Guiness, I think I'll stick to the rules
of evidence." [the pilot]

C: "You can ask me whatever you like."
B: "I don't want to ask you anything. What about would I want to ask you?"
C: "About what you read in my file."
B: "Why would you think that I read your file?"
C: "All morning you've had the look of someone who's read my file."
B: "Really? What look is that?"
C: "Like you're scared I might jump up on the food cart and set myself on fire."
B: (laughs) "Your file said that three years ago .. you died."
C: "I was clinically dead for about ... ten minutes."
B: "That's horrible."
C: "Being dead was easy. Comin' back was the tough part."
B: "You spent time in a mental institution?"
C: "I was clinically insane for a while there, but I'm all right now. Near enough. Hey, can I have a goldfish?"
B: "Yeah. Wh-wh-what does that mean, near enough?"
C: (touches scar on his forehead) "I lost a big chunk of my brain. The doctors say - hey weird. These aren't goldfish, they are whales."
B: "What did the doctors say?"
C: "They say I've lost certain faculties." (tries to catch a goldfish with his mouth but misses completely)
B: "Like what?"
C: "Shame for example, I have no shame."
B: "You've no shame."
C: "No."
B: "None."
C: "If I got the urge to recite poetry while stripping naked in the middle of the isle I'd have no problem doing that." (talks to flight attendant) "Mam, oh, can I have another whiskey? I'd love another whiskey."
B: "So what was it like - dying?"
C: "As advertised, golden gates, prolly stairs, spooky choir music."
B: "I'm serious. So, wh-wh-what did you see on the other side? Was, was there anything there?"
C: (leans towards her) "There was ... Starbucks on *every* corner."
B: (laughts) "Tell me the truth."
C: "Why do you want to know? Is there someone you ... need to contact?"
B: "Why would I not want to know. No! I want to know, tell me."
C: "Your file said you lacked persistence, but I don't see that at all."
B: "It did not say that. It didn't. Did my file say that?"
C: "And gullible, very gullible."
B: "You're kidding, right? You're kidding, oh that's funny. That, that's really funny."
C: "Of course I'm kidding. I would never dream of reading another colleague's file."
B: "You know you what, you like to kid around a lot. That's, that's something. That's - should take a look at that."
C: "Yes? Really? Should I?"
B: "That's very childish and -"
C: "- wow -"
B: "- unprofessional."
C: "OK, I will. I'll look into the future and try to control myself-"
B: "- maybe you should."
C: "- and try to be perfect -"
B: "- maybe -"
C: (starts reciting poetry, stands up and takes off his t-shirt in the middle of the isle) "Tiger, tiger, burning bright, in the forest of the night, what immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?" (Susan tries unsuccessfully to "shhh" him before she hides completely mortified behind her hands)
Flight attendant: "Sir, sir, I'm gonna have to ask you to please keep your clothes on and remain seated."
C: (grumbling) "All right. I've been working out though."
B: (whispers) "My God, oh my God." [the pilot]

Creegan: "I used to have a beautiful wife, kids, and a beautiful home and now I have a job that keeps me up at night."
Cyril: "Why does it keep you awake? Worried about bad guys?"
Creegan: "I worry about... killers, the victims, their families. It's my curse. I worry about everybody." ["Y Me"]
