Universal has set a release date for season one of Las Vegas which stars James Caan, Josh Duhamel, Nikki Cox, James Lesure and Vanessa Marcil. This three-disc set will be available to own from the 4th January next year, and should set you back somewhere in the region of $59.98. All twenty-three episodes of the show will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras include a Inside the Montecito feature which goes behind-the-scenes with the production designers of the Las Vegas Soundstage, a Sin City featurette which takes a look at the past, present and future of Las Vegas and a Rumble in the Montecito featurette including Jon Bon Jovi, John Elway and the TV cast of Las Vegas. Bon Jovi rings in Halloween
JON BON JOVI will participate in the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation's third annual Dream Halloween benefit at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on October 24th, to which hundreds of families are invited each year to come in costume and trick-or-treat for toys. The singer will present an award to Sopranos star JAMES GANDOLFINI for his contributions. Meanwhile, BON JOVI are set to release a five-disc box set of rarities on November 16th . . . JA RULE must show his face in a Toronto court next spring to address an assault charge related to a confrontation in a nightclub last June. The rapper will plead not guilty . . . Wild Irish heroes the POGUES will issue remastered and expanded versions of their seven studio albums on November 5th, featuring more than thirty unreleased tracks. Frontman SHANE MACGOWAN will rejoin the band for a string of U.K. gigs this December . . .
