Kaikan_Phrase

Kaikan Phrase follows the highs and lows of the band Lucifer (Lucifer: The Fallen Angel) as they struggle to find out what makes a successful rock band. With Sakuya on vocals, Santa on drums, Yuki and Atsuro on guitar, and Towa on bass, the band fights through live houses, families, and each other to discover if they have what it takes to be the best.

Name: Sakuya Okouchi (vocalist)
Age: 17
Experience: Pianist and vocalist at the Hotel Century
Sakuya has a very captivating and powerful voice which led Santa and Yuki to strongly pursue him as the lead vocalist for their new band, Lucifer. Your typical loner, Sakuya often comes off as abrasive and pessimistic. However, he deeply loves music, making him a strong front man for the band, and a seemingly unlikely friend.

Age: 22
Experience: Former drummer for the band Climb
Other: Owner of a music store
After catching his girlfriend Yumi, the vocalist for Climb, cheating on him with another band member, Santa immediately quit, followed without question by his fellow band mate and friend Yuki. Eager to start over, he and Yuki form a new band, Lucifer: The Fallen Angel. They both are responsible for coercing both Sakuya and Towa into joining them. Hot tempered, loud, and free-spirited, Santa is the heart if the band. He is extremely passionate about making the band a success and is the driving force behind Lucifer's energy.

Name: Yukifumi Toudou "Yuki" (guitarist)
Age: 20
Experience: Guitarist for the band Climb
Other : Heir to his family's Noh legacy
Yuki followed Santa out of their former band Climb and was co-creator of Lucifer. He is cool headed and practical, often playing the mediator when tempers flare. He is extremely loyal to his friends and his music, risking everything for them - including his family. Going against his overbearing father's wishes, he risks both his inheritance and his home for Lucifer.

Name: Atsuro Kiryuu (guitarist)
Age: 19
Experience: Former guitarist for the band Lucy Lane
Other: Employed part-time at "Pizza Hit"
Young and full of energy, Atsuro was devastated when his fellow band mates broke up Lucy Lane to concentrate on academics. While at a local live house called The Cradle, he became enchanted by Lucifer when they took stage for an impromptu show. He was quick to join in and became the band's second guitarist. Atsuro has a close relationship with his sister Yuka, who acts as the band's manager when they first start out. Like fellow band mate Towa, he considers leaving both school and family in pursuit of his dream to be a rock musician. Determined and committed, Atsuro will do almost anything for Lucifer and his friends.

Name: Kazuto Sakuma "Towa" (bassist)
Age: 19
Experience: Former bassist for the band Neon
Disenchanted by his band's decision of looks over musical quality and "challenge of sound", Towa left Neon in the midst of a possible indie record deal. Curious about an offer to join a new band, Lucifer, after being approached by Yuki and Santa, he joins in after hearing Sakuya sing at a visit to The Cradle. Quiet and reserved, Towa shows a gentleness to his fellow band mates,
taking Atsuro under his wings since they share a similar background - Towa leaving his family and school to pursue music while Atsuro struggles with a decision to do the same. Compassionate to the core, he has on numerous occasions opened up his apartment to the others in their time of need and is often the voice of reason when things go awry.
