| Chapter one-Shadows As the young girl slept, a shadow materialized in her room. A black haired youth, whose eyes shone with an un-natural light. His skin was shockingly pale. Unearthly, and it looked even more astonishing in contrast to his hair, and his eyes were an electrifying blue. The figure was one many would attempt to avoid during the night, dressed in black. An off-white ruffled shirt underneath a black button-up coat, black pants and shoes, he looked like a prince. He smiled at the sleeping girl, tucked away in her own land of dreams, unaware of the dark presence in her room. The figure moved swiftly, with cat-like grace to the girls bed-side. He moved a strand of her blond hair out of her face, and the girl gave a small smile in her sleep. Sitting on the side of her bed, the individual began to stroke her hair, humming an unknown tune softly. In his bliss, the being didn't even notice, despite his keen senses, that another of his kind had appeared in the room, until he spoke. "So this is where you've been scampering off to." the cruel voice shot out of the darkness. The figure on the bed looked up sharply. Before him stood another tall, regal looking, pale-skinned male. Dressed in much the same as the first, only his hair was pure white, and his eyes a colder blue. The black haired boy stood defensively, not speaking. "Honestly. As a vampire, I would think you'd pick a worthier being than a pathetic human. However.." he ended there. The black haired youth, turned and looked at the sleeping girl. He kissed her softly, before vanishing as easily as he had come. The sleeping girl slowly opened her brown eyes, bringing a hand up to her right cheek, touching it softly, thinking of the strange dream she had just had. |
