Personality: There was a time when Skye was a carefree child; a little neglected, but sheltered enough personally. That has long since changed, and ever since he set out into the world on his own, he has changed greatly. Once a wild boy bent on laughing every minute, now Skye's suicidal tendencies are much more morbid. He still takes risks fearlessly, but they were no longer meant to mock death and pain, but because he truly does not care. He can't find it within himself to ignore the pain of his life, and he is bitter and cold. He tries to cover it up by laughing and smiling; it's not very convincing, even though he's an excellent actor. Things have been marginally better since he got away from the slums of the cities he often ended up in, and many improvements from his days on ships that didn't appreciate having him uninjured. He lost his blind optimism a long time ago, and it's failed him since; this bitter realization has gone further toward breaking him than any of the brutal rapes or beatings he's suffered. The ocean that used to hold such sway over him is now only an empty, painful reminder, and any music he brings himself to compose or sing is so hauntingly melancholy as to make men cry upon hearing it. Worst of all, though, is that he doesn't really trust anyone. (A far cry from Sky, who could trust pretty much anyone and have faith, were he given the opportunity.) He has no faith, and has nothing to believe in. And he's keeping it that way. Attachments equal pain. He also absolutely hates being touched, no matter by whom, and anyone who touches him will often find a few fingers missing afterward.
Powers: Skye possesses and controls all the powers that come with his 'demonic heritage'; he does not use them often, and they are regarded as tools and benefits that must be reserved for when he's -really- gotten himself into a fix. (See the page on Aladrissi specs.) Instead of wasting magic or powers, though, he's learned to fight, and fight well, having been raised with warriors. His skill with a cutlass is nearly as good as his aim with a bow; both are quite impressive. Skye also has a tendency to See things in the past, be they those that have happened to him or to others. Due to Lanath messing with him, he is quite prone to certain sicknesses and is easily affected by things like alcohol and magic-spells.
