shattered
like glass too harshly treated
fallen
like a sand castle under the waves
broken
like the eyes of the betrayed
crumbled
like stale bread chewed upon by mice
into a thousand peices.
but each peice is me
and each peice is free
and so we come together
to be shattered once more.
