	History: When Alan was three, his entire family, the noble family of Raven's Rock - the Haminbars - were accused of mass treason and put to death. As a toddler who really had no part in his family's treachery, he was given to the Solastis to raise as a good child. He was always small and inobtrusive, the exact opposite of his 'brother' whom he befriended for life. Incredibly taciturn, the only person he'd ever really talk to was Sky. He always had horrible nightmares of watching his home and family burn for treason. He and Sky spent many nights in bed together as children, the blond comforting him and eliciting a lifelong loyalty. He spent most of his childhood saving Sky's ass and keeping him out of trouble, which he still does, and he has many fond memories of their escapades, most notably the ones like fleeing from a flock of infuriated harpies, or stealing a ride on a centaur stallion. He took to stealth and observation early on, always watching for information and always sneaking about. While his fingers are indeed skilled in slipping into pockets, he doesn't bother often, and concentrates his rogue-ly skills on spying and escaping when he needs to. He stayed in Raven's Rock his whole life. He would have gone with Sky when his best friend left for other worlds, but he knew that Sky needed time to mature and learn on his own. What he did during those years is a great mystery indeed. When Sky returned, they joined forces once more and then left on a great quest with Jex and Ran. He is now a content resident of Calimport, collecting rocks and pampering the hell out of Cat, Lethe's pet. Personality: Alan is very quiet. Speaking is definitely not his strong suit, and when he bothers to, it's always something of importance. He is small and tends to slide through the notice of most people, a fleet shadow that attracts no attention, just secrets. He knows more than most people ever dream of, and simply keeps it all to himself. He prowls Calimport by night, searching for hints of his friends' prey, and is the only one of the four 'heroes' to see their adversaries as people and not just monsters, and respect them as such. He tolerates Lethe, knowing Sky loves him, and knows that the half elf is on good terms with Draugt and Kanil, and simply sees no need to mention it. Recently, he has been withdrawing even more into himself than usual as Sky grows further away from him. He knew it would happen someday, but he is lonely and so resorts to talking to Cat and prowling more than ever. Powers: He's quiet and observant, and he is very, very good at disguising himself and escaping from tight situations.
