·       Write these sentences on the board:

Pupils who come to class late are not allowed in.

·       Ask ®Which clause describe the Pupils? who.....late. ®Does the underlined clause just give more information about pupils or does it say exactly which pupils are not allowed in the class? exactly which pupils are not allowed in the class. ®So can we take out this clause? no ® Do we write commas around this clause? no ® do we pause before we say this clause? no.
