·       Show S the cards of the lesson 4, S read and define them.

·       Ask the following Q's:

  1.  What is another way to say 'was started', 'was established'? was founded

  2.  How can we say the position of something, where something is? is located

  3.  What word means a part of an organization that is away from the headquarters? branch

  4.  What adj means the first or the most important or the biggest? leading

  5.  What do you study if you want to learn how bridges are built or how machines work? engineering

  6.  What do you study if you want to learn how languages work? linguistics

  7.  What do you study if you want to learn how businesses work? management

  8.  What do you study if you want to learn how to plan buildings, towns and cities? environmental design

·       Open PB/12, Word Study, S read aloud the words, their syllable, their part of speech, their definitions, read aloud examples and answer the Q's.

·       Open WB/8 and look at the Word Study exercise.

·       Look at WB/9, read aloud the ins. (S should count the lines)

·       S work in pairs for 5m to find and write the answers.

·       S read their answer and correct each others.
