·       Show S the cards of the last lesson, S read them and give definitions.

·       Open PB/6, Word Study. S read the words, their definitions and do the tasks after (*).

·       While introducing some words I'll introduce some other words:

  1.  in bring up, introduce take care of = look after.

  2.  in kindness, introduce happiness = the (n) of happy.

  3.  in insurance, introduce in case of = in happening, for example in.

  4.  in gentleman , introduce act = does, operate. speaker = a person who speak. lady = a woman from upper classes.

  5.  actor: man who acts on the stage.

  6.  leader: a person who leads.

  7.  helpful: (adj) from help

  8.  unhappy the opp. of happy.

  9.  alone: with no other people.

 10. experience: knowing about things because you have done or seen them.

 11. poetry = poems.

 12. theatre: building where you can see plays.

·       Open WB/3, read aloud the ins. S work in pairs for 5m to find and write the answers.
