·       Play the cassette, point to the poster and ask the Q's from the previous lesson and S answer.

·       Open PB/1, look at the Q's there. S answer them.

·       Turn PB/2, part 1. S read aloud the ins.. Play the recording from the beginning and ask Q's during the playing. S answer and repeat.

·       Look at part 2, read aloud the con. in A on the left.

·       Introduce:

Øshort stories: They are like novels, but they are much shorter.

·       S read the con.

·       Two S stand and substitute the words in B on the left

·       Do the same with two other S.

·       Do the same with boxes A & B on the right.

·       Open WR/B1. S read aloud the rules and examples for punctuation on page 1 & 2 and look at the exercise and write it for homework.

·       Look at page 3, S read aloud the contents of the first box. S write the exercise for homework.

·       Do the same with the second box.

·       Introduce:

Øexception: the noun from except. S write the exercise for homework.

·       Turn P/4, read aloud the ins. read the examples and do the exercise for homework.

WRITTEN WORK:

 Complete the exercises on WR/B/ P: 2-4.
