· Open WB/38. S read aloud the Q's, others say the word answer. Words should be spelled. Þ Hang the poster: · Point to (1-a & 1-b) ask: What are these people doing? They are talking on the telephone. · Point to (2-a & 2-b) ask: What about these people? One of them is posting a letter and the other is getting a letter. · Point to (3-a & 3-b) ask: What are these people doing ? One man is getting on a bus. Ask: Why? What is he going to do? He is going to visit a friend. · Point to the whole poster and ask: What are they all doing that is the same? What do they all have in common = by all or for all (of a group)? These people are talking or writing to other people. They are communicating. = talk, write or send messages to someone. · Open PB/9, look at the title and the pic’s, say: These pic's show how people communicate. Say: communication is the (n). · S read the captions under the pic's to introduce the new voc: * postal: the adj. of post. * domestic: inside, not outside a country. * network: a system of routes joined together. · S read the ins's in Q 1, Q 2: They are communicating. & Q 3: It means sending and getting messages or other kinds of information’s. · Turn PB/10-11, look at the pic's and read the title. · Look at the large pic, read the caption to introduce: * telegraph: a method of sending message. * PTT: the abbreviation for the Ministry · Look at the PB/10/ at the cartoon, S read the caption, introduce: * delivery: when something arrives. * speed: to make something move more quickly. · Look at PB/11, the large pic: read the 1st sentence from the caption to introduce: * electronic sorters: are the machines that arrange the letters into groups. * handle: deal with. · S read the 2nd sentence of the caption to introduce : * typical: ( average, normal, usual) * efficient: working well · S open WB/7, S look for the answers to the 1st and 2nd Q. |
