1st.Give out the readers and collect the workbooks.

2nd.Preview the passage.

3rd.Practise using known words.

4th.Practise using context.

5th.Prepare the homework.

·       Give out the readers, and collect the workbooks.

 

 

 

·       Open PR/2-3, look at the title and pictures. Read aloud the introduction of part A, a S read aloud Q1, page 2. (The aim here is to have S look and think about the passage not the Q's themselves)

·       Do the same with the other Q's.

 

 

 

·       Turn/4/ ex,B, read aloud the instruction and explanations.

·       Read aloud one word for each Q and elicit similar words that S remember.

 

 

 

·       Turn/5/ ex,C. Ask: What should you do when you see a new word? S answer

·       S read the title and the instructor.

·       S work together on the first  5 Q's (05m).

·       S read the sentences answers. Others say how the answer can be found in the context.

·       Do the same with: Q's: 6-11. S complete at home.

 

 

 

·       Look at ex, D, read aloud the title and ins.

·       S read the 4 steps  in Arabic there.

·       S read the 7 Q's there, S should understand them and remember to find (write) the answers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOMEWORK:

S read the passage on pages 10-13 and write answers to the Q's on page 9.
