My goal as an artist is to create visions that allow the viewer to escape to a place of comfort and refuge, even if only for a moment. The elements I choose for a piece, whether it be sky, clouds, water, flowers or a figure, are the conveyance to that place. My inspiration comes from within and from the beauty that surrounds all of us...past, present and future. Though all things will pass, I hope that my art will capture and save bits of that beauty to be savored in a timeless way beyond my own days. |
