Les E. Smutz is an accomplished, award-winning California artist who has recently relocated to Arizona. His work draws from Victorian Romanticism, Impressionism and Classic Realism, converging on the canvas to produce images of unparalleled beauty, elegance and serenity that evoke powerful emotion from viewers.
His exacting portraiture, rendered in graphite on Bristol or oil on linen canvas, convey not only a likeness of the subjects, but an innate sense of personality.
