| The Creation 40 Second Freefall was formed in the fall of 2002. Guitarist Tim Fromme and Bassist James Thompson had been jamming together for a while and decide they wanted to start a band together. After playing with different people, they found the drummer Joe Shelfo, who quickly joined the band and added a solid drum section to the band's style and sound. After playing with their sound with countless jam sessions, the trio decided they had enough material to to debut themselves to the public. After they chose the name 40 Second Freefall, which was inspired by Tim's skydiving experience in the previous summer, they entered the local school Branford High's Battle of the Bands. Needless to say they won. Impressed with the band's tremendous sound at the battle, guitarist Paul Chasse joined the team in the summer of 2003 and completed the bands "Hybrid Rock" formula... |
