| The Miami Dolphins |
| Well, I figure I might as well finally put something in the Dolphins page after it has sat here for a few years with nothing on it except for a link. Obviously I am a die hard dolphan, as is everyone else in my family. Heartbreak is nothing new to us life long Fin Fans. We havn't won the big game in over 30 years. We have had the "GREATEST QUARTERBACK TO EVER GRACE THE FIELD" (to quote a brother of mine), and couldn't do it. Every season its the same thing. WE come out awesome- control the show until late November when we completely collapse. CAn't win any meaningful games. The past 6 years its been the same story. When we get to December we play in the cold and can't win. ALmosts like Tampa. This past year (The 2002 season) we have had 6 probowlers on our starting lineup. 5 on defense and 1 on offense. One of the ones on defense led the league in sacks -Jason Taylor. The one on offense, non other than Ricky Williams, led the league in rushing for 1857 yards. With all of this talent that we have had and everything else- we couldn't even make the playoffs. What a disgrace. Some have said that the last game against New England where we led the game until the last 5 minutes and couldn't hold them, is the worst loss in recent dolphin years even more so then Dan Marino's last game in Jacksonville when we were eliminated from the playoffs 62-7. Even more than the Monday Night Jet Miracle in the Meadowlands. Well, like every season- the past one we were able to get rid of the Jets Curse of not being able to beat them, so we snuck out one victory against them when Vinnie was in. Maybe next year we can get rid of the december curse. Doubtful.......... |
