WHY? Only about 20% of students in Lesotho will be able to afford the fees for secondary school, although they are only about $200 US per year. In a country plagued by poverty and AIDS, education is often the only chance for children to forge a life for themselves and their families. |

| WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? $40 = books for one year $222 = Tuition and books for one year $1110 = One student's entire highschool tuition (5 years plus books) 100% of your donation goes directly to the students. The Lesotho Education Fund is run entirely by volunteer teachers. |

| WHO ARE WE? The Lesotho Education Fund was founded in 2005 by two Peace Corps Volunteers, Rachel Kline and Matt Brown.Their work in the schools of Lesotho made them aware of the urgent need for scholarships in this poor but stable country. L.E.F. is run by volunteer teachers who believe that education really can make a difference. |
