*I am assuming that Phineas and Sarah were divorced sometime between 1830 and 1840. In the 1830 census there was Phineas, Sarah, two boys and two girls. One boy being John and the other being Ruth Ann. IN the 1840 census it is just Phineas and the two boys.

*I have no definite proof that Ruth Ann is John's sister other than the fact that she was living with John's family in 1850 (census) and her and her husband lived with or next to John and Mary while in Tipton County. She could be Evan and Elizabeth's daughter but I have pretty much ruled that out since Dinah's children inherited property from Elizabeth.
