Dave Albright, aka kcd0g (or "d0g" for short") was born in June 1955 and, with a exception of a couple of brief diversions, has been a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. "The d0g" got his first taste of Mountain in May 1971 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. It was d0g's first concert experience at the tender young age of 15. Needless to say, the band made a bit of an impression.
The d0g is employed as a mail handler with the US Postal Service, and has been married to his wife Kristy since 1987. Their son Trey was born in November 1992. d0g has another son, Dustin, who was born in November 1981. Dustin is an up-and coming bassist/guitarist/keyboardist who is currently playing locally in the Kansas City area.
Your webmaster also played a bit of bass back in the day, being heavily influenced by Felix Pappalardi, Jack Bruce and John Entwhistle. He hung up his spurs after 20+ years of playing at the age of 39 and subsequently passed the torch (and his gear) to his eldest son.
d0g's personal musical favorites, aside from LW and Mountain, include King's X, Kansas, Robin Trower and Frank Marino, amongst many others...Aside from maintaining this site, d0g is also webmaster of the Felix Pappalardi Dedication Website and was/is responsible for the design and maintenance of Richie DeMartino's Windfall Music website, as well as his own personal website...
