Amherst County Will Book IV, page 417/ 15 October 1805. Matthew Harris administration bond for $10,000 dollars given by Zachariah Roberts, William Harris ans William Lee Harris; "condition of the above Bond is this dayby the County appointed to collect and preserve the Esyate of Matthew Harris, ded'd, aggreeably toAct of Assembly in the case made and provided during the contest about the will of the said Matthew Harris until letter of administration are obtained in due form on said Estate" Zachariah Roberts (a son-in-law) appointed administrator.
