English

Sunday, July, 3rd, 2005; 10:30 am:

I’ll write a few things in English from time to time, since I can and wish to make non-French speakers feel welcome here.
And since I don’t express myself quite the same way in English as in French. Different tones. As if English allowed a different part of my brain to express itself.
Just like I don’t speak as much as I write. Not half as much. Not half of a half as much.

The links leading to pages with some English will appear like that: link**.
Such a **link** will lead to a page such as this one: entirely in English.

I guess I should introduce myself a bit, as I’ve done in French.
I’m a girl. I’m French, less than 30, more than 20. I live near Annecy, in France. I’ve been to the USA a few times. I love music. I watch TV a lot, especially the music channels of course.
Such a hobby -watching foreign music channels- allows me to discover foreign artists long before most of my neighbors: like KT Tunstall, James Blunt on VH1, and to discover some artists my neighbors will never hear of: Sweet Noise, Pudelsi, Wilki, Kayah on Viva Polska and Jovanotti , Elisa on Playlist Italia... Ahh! Technology marvels...
A few years ago I had access to MT2 and Onyx as well. No longer. (Long very upset sigh)

So, I’ve written I’m a girl who lives in France. But I have to ask you: how can you know for sure?
Do you work for the CIA? In such a case, you can probably check.
Otherwise, I have to tell you: question yourself.
I’m pretty sure it’s one of the main, if not the main, message of the Da Vinci Code: question what you see, question what you’re told.

Like: why does this website is called “The website of Camille and Indigo”?
If you’re a bit into New-Age stuff, I’m pretty sure you’re already on the right track.
Yep.
Camille, you don’t stand a chance, it’s a little thing I’ll keep to myself, for now. I mean, it’s not my name and I won’t tell what it’s doing here. But Indigo, well first it’s a surname but not chosen by accident. Who would give such a surname to anyone by accident? Is there such a thing as accidents, anyway?
So, I haven’t chosen this surname out of the blue, may I say.
And who’s surname is it? Again, this I’ll keep to myself, for now.
If you wonder what the hell I’m talking about with my “New-Age stuff”, please simply try a little Google search for “quote” “Indigo children” “end quote”.
Funny thing is I haven’t mentioned this in my French introduction.
So, only English speaking Francophone will have access to this little detail.

I’m into New-Age (precise definition of what I mean by that not inserted here) so, yes, I admit, I’m a weirdo.
A nice cool one. I don’t own guns. I have no guru, no leader I blindly follow. I haven’t put any particular sign outside my door or on my t-shirt to proudly show everyone I belong to any…
Oops… Where thoughts lead…
I never saw any UFO. I never had any vision. I never “heard voices”. I don’t even drink alcohol. I don’t even smoke anything. I’m totally clear.
Except for some,… well, lots of chocolate and a bit, well… litres of green tea, I admit.
But again, just to be on the safe side: be my guest! Question!

I wonder: do British and Americans equipped with TV by satellite get access to any French music channel? I have access to 6 French music channels here. What about you?
I have taken a few good photos of Annecy lately. I should put some online soon. I wonder: are they really good at all? Would they do good in an exhibition? Are they any better than photos of bare walls, of cracks on the floor taken by a professional renowned artist (which I’m not)?
Would I do good as a stage photographer? I’d certainly love to. At least damn try!
Do I have a job?
Is my dream job waiting for me somewhere? And I only have to somehow reach out for it to live my dream? And be paid for it?!!
Is it all only about daring?
Question…

And Turin Brakes sing: “Fishing for a dream”…
