| In August 2006, the Deputy Head Teacher from Acklam Grange School visited Lesiraa School to see how the building project was progressing. He also took some funds to buy much needed equipment for the school from local suppliers, and visited the extended family of two of the Lesiraa School pupils to provide them with some items of clothing.
