There are many things in this world that I am thankful for, but one of the most important is having two parents that care for you. My parents are two people that I can usually trust. They help me whenever I need help and they can usually relate to most of the things that are going on in my life. I would probably have to say that I am thankful for my parents in equal ways.
First, I am thankful for my mom because of many reasons which consist of me being able to talk to her about anything and whenever I need her help she is right their. I can usually talk to my mom about almost anything because she understands what is going on. For example, whenever I talk to my mom about my girlfriend she can in some ways relate and when we talk our conversations stay private. Also the other reason is that whenever I need her help she is always there for me. Also whenever I need to go somewhere my mom will usually take me even if it up to my girlfriends house because she trusts me.
Next, I am thankful for my dad because he is a guy and he is always asking me what is going on, but when he asks me that I usually don’t tell him because he will make a joke of it or something to embarrass me. For example, whenever I bring up something and my dad hears me say it he will usually have to make some kind of stupid remark or something. Also, another reason is that whenever I need help with my school work he is always there for me. For example, whenever I have a big math test coming up my dad will help me study so I will get a good grade and also that I understand what I am doing.
Last, my parents help me in separate but equal ways. My mom and dad have been a great influence in my life so far and I wish that it will always stay this way. I am very surprised that I have such great parents because most everyone that I know has either parents who fight all the time or parents who are divorced.
I am so surprised that I have such great parents and I hope they stay like that until the day they die. I am very thankful for what I have and I have learned never to give up something that you truly love.
