I purchased my very first little red male shiba, Kyoshi, in 2002. He is my four legged soul mate. He sank his shiba love deep into my heart and was hooked from the get go. It is just so darn hard to own one. He is responsible for starting this whole love affair.
I breed my dogs to better the breed. I breed for quality rather than quantity and to gain my next show prospect. Temperment is my top focus, first and foremost. I pride myself on my shiba's tempements. My dog are family members first and show dogs second. I raise happy healthy well balanced dogs who then produce happy healthy well balanced puppies. I put tons of love into my dogs and in turn they are absolutely wonderful companions.
I am greatful to Jane Chapin (J-Ann Shibas), Pat Doescher (Hi-Jinx Shibas) and Karen Drentlaw (Te-Shi Shibas) for allowing me to have some of their very best shibas. I also must thank Jane for all her help teaching me to properly show dogs. I had always wanted to show dogs and Jane made it all possible.
