Harry Potter Knits |
The Harry Potter novels are full of knitting references. Molly Weasley is famous for her Christmas sweaters that she knits all her children (and Harry). Hagrid and Hermione both knit. In Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Dumbledore confesses a fondness for knitting patterns. So, it is only natural that a Harry Potter fan and hand knitter (like me) would spend time knitting things that are Harry Potter themed. I just wish I had those magic needles from the Film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. |

This is the first Harry Potter scarf I made. It was a gift for a friend. Made out of Wool-ease and done with the pattern at atypically |

Here is the second scarf I made. I actually made this one for myself, but Jessica wanted to wear it to the see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I am just an old softie; I gave her my scarf. This one is also done in Wool-Ease. |

Pygmy Puffs are a cute little pet that Fred and George Weasley sell in their shop on Diagon Ally. These are a very easy project to make. |

The Quiditch Sweater I made for Jimmy. The pattern was a mess, but I did manage to finish the sweater. It is made from Wool-Ease (I bought a truck load of Gryfindor colors when Wool-Ease was on sale for $1.88 at Hobby Lobby). |
