The LPGs
...
The Low Profile Guys,
Stephen Burke and Georges Roy, better known as The
LPGs , live in
Québec City, Canada. They are fluently
bilingual (English and French) entertainers and have performed before
American and Canadian audiences. Their humour is of good taste and is
generally aimed at audiences of 40 years of age or over. In essence, that means
that if you or your group have never heard of Ed Sullivan, Johnny Carson, Elvis
Presley and Jean Chrétien, then don't even think of hiring the LPGs and just go
ahead and book The Backstreet Boys!
Whatever function you are
planning ...
If you are planning a
conference, a congress, a meeting or a company function such as a golf
tournament within the Québec City region, then why not capitalize on the fact that Stephen
Burke is a fourth generation Irishman, born, raised and educated in Québec City - a World Heritage Site as declared by
UNESCO.
Upon request, Stephen can
address your group and give them a humorous (nonetheless factual) history of Québec.
Or, he can create for you a special guest speaker. Maybe a
distinguished keynote speaker (possibly with a British or French accent), or perhaps a
world-renowned leader in your particular field of expertise, or even a disgruntled client,
student, etc ... Your choice will be his.
If you enjoy clean and
intelligent standup
material, seasoned with songs and impressions of politicians and showbiz greats
of yesterday and today, then The LPGs might well be the entertainment
that you need to make your congress, conference, cruise (yes, we did write cruise
because we think that our brand of entertainment fits perfectly with the cruise
industry's clientele), party or company
function a fun
and memorable occasion.
ELVIS, Jean, Johnny, ...
Wouldn't it be great to see ELVIS
one last time ? Or such greats as Ed Sullivan,
Johnny Carson, Jean Chrétien (one LAST time also), John Wayne, Herman's Hermits,
Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, and many others ? The LPGs have them all
on hold for you. Actually, they're just an e-mail away.
An experienced Master of
Ceremony
Stephen Burke can also be your
EMCEE. Stephen has many years of experience as an accomplished Master of
Ceremony. He speaks English and French with NO accent whatsoever and does rather
quite well in Spanish. His deep barytone voice has a radio sound to it
and you will most certainly enjoy his sense of timing and his ease at ad libbing.
Although Stephen enjoys
being a serious MC, if you so wish, he will integrate the LPGs comedy routines to your program of activities
and offer
you a show of the duration that you think best fits your group. And, if you so
wish, The LPGs will follow up with a complete live band to dance the night away.
