Carrots (Frieda)
Slice carrots and cook in water with salt and a little sugar.
Remove most of liquid and then add brown sugar and honey to barely cover.
Add pineapple tidbits and a little pineapple juice.
Bake until candied

Beet Mold
2 packages raspberry jello
1 cup boiling water
1 pound julienned beets (cooked)
4 tablespoons red horseradish
2 tablespoons vinegar
Add water to jello powder and refrigerate for 25 minutes.
Add drained beets, vinegar & horseradish
Pour into mold and chill

Serve with fish, such as gefilte fish.
