...Ok,
well not quite Twelve, but awefully close! Arriving at the pub
around 8:30pm, my freind and I waited patiently as the hours
passed slowly througout the evening. Clock was supposed to take
the stage at 10:30pm, but due to a few little problems, the guys
didn't actually go on 'till 11:30pm...but it was WELL worth our 3
hour wait!!! The last band cleared off the stage as I saw members
from Clock starting to surface from the back room. The guys began
to set up their equipment one by one...
I
wasn't able to get Sasha at set up, well except if you look
behind the pic of PJ...he's holding up the "Peace" sign
:), but I have plenty for later! Now, I was almost unable
to take these next two pictures, because my heart was in my
throat, but somehow I managed!
When
all the equipment was up and the instruments were tuned, the band
got the crowd roaring with their first few songs, "Fine Mess",
followed by "Underdog", "Tinsel Town", and
"To Be Alive" - Written by Vivian Campbell and PJ Smith, also found
on Def Leppard's "Euphoria")...
The, already large, crowd seemed to grow larger as Clock took a breif break. By this time I was COMPLETELY impressed with what I had heard...and couldn't wait for more! Fanning myself from the warmth of the hundred or so bodies around, I took a deep breath. The crowd talked amungst themselves as I turned to face my friend. One of the girls we meet there was trying to tell me something, but I couldn't hear her over the noise of the crowd. I leaned over the table and she screamed into my ear, "Malvin's here!". I about fainted when I heard her. I turned around and looked over to the bar and there he was...Malvin Mortimer!!! Just about that same time Clock came back on stage ready for more. I turned my attention, and my camera, back to the band...trying not to lose site of Malvin in the process...
Clock
finished up with "What's Wrong With You"and the crowd
cheered. The guys made there way off stage as everyone started
clapping louder followed by screams for more. Vivian emerged
first...making his way to his microphone, he invited a guest to
come do their last song...the guest...Malvin Mortimer...
Clock performed a total of two songs with Malvin. The first one was "Money" from the Beatles, the second...ummm...I couldn't tell you...I didn't know it! LOL...But all in all it was a blast!!! The whole show was absolutly amazing and I'm SO glad I took the time to go! If any of you have the chance to see them...I HIGHLY recommend going - They are WONDERFUL!!! And...you never know who you might meet...
