"They haven't told us anything yet. The ambulance just brought him in about twenty minutes ago." Rick explained pacing back and fourth looking at the doors for any sign of a doctor. "Where did this happen
and what happened?" Joe asked Phil who was shaking all over. "All I know is that Sav was heading home when another car lost control of hit him head on." Phil told him, tears starting to form in his eyes. "Oh God, how about the other driver? How bad are they?" Joe asked worried that they had been hurt just as bad.

"There was only one person in the car and apparently they had been drinking and veered into the lane Sav was in. He tried to swerve to avoid them, but couldn't." Phil said the tears overcoming him and running down his cheeks. Joe instantly remembered that Sav had had some drinks too, but it was hours ago. "Phil, do they think Sav was drinking too? Remember he was kind of buzzed when he left the parking lot of the club?" Joe said his voice cracking with fear.

"As far as I know they only think the other driver was drinking and driving, but if they find that Sav had been drinking he will be as much at fault as the other guy." Phil said looking down at the floor scared to death for his friend. Sarah came up to Joe and put her arms around him to try and ease his fears. "I know Sav will be fine Joe, you just have to have faith." Sarah told him kissing him tenderly. "I know sweetheart, but I am just so scared for him right now." Joe said hugging her tightly. They continued to wait, worried what was taking so long for them to come tell them anything. It was about 4 hours before a doctor finally came out to give them news about Sav. "Are you his friends?" The doctor asked them when he came out. "Yes, how bad is it?" Phil asked starting to panic. The doctor's expression was grim and he looked down at the floor before looking up at them to give them the news. "He has severe injuries including a broken leg, broken ribs, and several contusions the most severe one to the head." The doctor explained frowning.

"After cleaning him up we discovered that he has suffered severe trauma to the skull. He has a skull fracture and as a result of that, he is in a coma." The doctor told them his tone grave. "Oh my god. Is
he going to be alright?" Joe asked him his voice trying not to give out due to the panic that was threatening to overwhelm him. Sarah hugged Joe tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks. "It's too soon
to tell you right now, but the next 24 hours are critical.

If he stays stable for the next 24 hours, his chances will improve a great deal. Meanwhile we are keeping a 24 hour watch over him and making sure that he rests as comfortably as possible. I will keep you up to date on his condition and inform you of any changes." With that the doctor walked out to attend his other patients.

Phil sat looking down at the floor his shoulders slumped. "What if he dies Joe, what if he dies?" Phil asked him looking at Joe tears brimming in his eyes. "Let's try to stay positive, we can't think like that understand?" Joe said firmly, even though he was thinking the same exact thing.

He was scared to death for his friend and whether or not his friend would make it. Phil just nodded his head. "I'll try, but I can't help but think the worst." Phil looked at the doors where they had taken Sav and wondered if he would ever see his friend again.

Twelve hours had passed since the doctor had first told them Sav's condition and there had been no change. The doctor allowed them in to see him one at a time for a few minutes. Joe came in the room just
after Phil and Viv were in to see him, and he wasn't prepared for what he saw. Sav's complexion was very pale, and they had him hooked up to all these tubes that were keeping him stable and his leg was in a cast held just above the bed by a traction device.

His face was bruised and swollen and there was a bandage around his head where Joe saw a lump from where he had hit his head on the steering wheel he would guess. Joe flopped down on the chair next to Sav's bed and began to cry at the sight of his friend. He took Sav's hand and leaned over to him in hopes he would hear him. "Sav, you have got to wake up buddy. I need you to be my best man at my wedding. Sarah and I won't think of getting married unless you are the best man. We all need you Sav, so don't even think about leaving us, do you understand?" Joe told him squeezing his hand.

Sarah came into the room and put her arms around Joe. "Any change sweetheart?" Sarah asked worriedly. "No change, God why did this have to happen to Sav?" Joe asked angrily. "I don't know honey, but I know
that Sav will make it through this. You have got to believe that. Sav needs you to believe that." Sarah told him hugging him tight.

"I know Sarah, I am just having a hard time dealing with the possibility that Sav is lying here in a hospital not knowing whether or not he will make it through the night." Joe looked at Sav praying
for him to wake up. "I wish I could take his place right now, so he wouldn't have to suffer like he is." Joe told Sarah putting his arms around her waist his shoulders wracked with sobs.

"I hate seeing him like this too Joe, but wishing it were so isn't going to change it. We just have to be here for him and talk to him , because I know that he can hear us even though he is unconscious right now." Sarah said her voice choked with tears. The doctor came in to examine Sav and Joe and Sarah were instructed to wait outside. After about fifteen minutes or so the doctor came out to give them an up date. "Well Mr. Savage is continuing to remain stable and that is a good sign. If he continues to stabilize in the next twelve hours his chances for a full recovery will increase significantly. Also I think that it's good for all of you to continue to talk to him and let him know you're there. It may bring him out of his coma sooner." The doctor left, letting his words sink in.

The next six days went on for what seemed like forever and all of them took turns going in and sitting with Sav talking to him. He didn't wake up, but he remained stable and his vitals were improving at a steady rate. Joe and Sarah were in the room sitting beside Sav's bed waiting for any signs of Sav waking up. They fell asleep in the chairs, and while Joe was leaning back in the chair he heard Sav moan. He sat up quickly and looked at Sav. Sav was beginning to stir. "Sav, can you hear me? If you can hear me, squeeze my hand." Joe said looking at him.

Sav gave Joe's hand a slight squeeze. Joe was ecstatic. "Sarah wake up. Sav is coming around." Joe said excitedly. Sarah jumped up and stood beside Joe. "Thank God." Sarah put her arms around Joe hugging
him. "I'll go get the doctor." Sarah raced out of the room to find the doctor. Joe sat down beside Sav again looking at him. "Sav, open your eyes Sav." Joe told him. Sav stirred some more and his eyes began opening slowly. Joe smiled at his friend when he saw Sav look at him. "Hey buddy, you gave us quite a scare. How are you doing?" Joe asked him trying to sound cheery.

Sav groaned in pain as he tried lifting his arm to his head. "Do you need some pain killers buddy? Joe asked him with concern. Sav nodded his head. Just then Sarah came in with the doctor. "Hey it's about
time you woke up and joined the party Mr. Savage." The doctor told him looking in his eyes with his pen light. "My head hurts like hell." Sav told him trying to reach up and touch his head. "You got quite a bump on the head. I will have the nurse come in to give you something for the pain." The doctor told him looking at his chart and making some notes. "You don't know how glad I am to see you open your eyes buddy. You scared the crap out of me and you had better not do it again do you hear me?" Joe scolded him. "Okay, I won't. The last thing I want is to go through this again." Sav said grimacing as he tried to sit up.

Joe put his hand on his shoulder and firmly held him there. "Don't try to sit up. You have just woke up from being in a coma. I don't want you to overdue it." Joe said sitting back down after making sure Sav wasn't going to try and sit up again. "You won't get any arguments from me. Boy that hurts." Sav grabbed his side wincing in pain from his broken ribs. The nurse came in and gave him a shot for the pain.

"You had us very worried about you Sav. We don't want anything happening to you." Sarah told him giving him a kiss on the forehead trying to be very gentle. "Thanks Sarah and Joe." Sav said closing his eyes waiting until the throbbing in his side to ease up. "Oh shit, I screwed up your guys wedding. You are supposed to get married today." Sav said his expression falling.

"Don't worry about that Sav. You are more important right now. The most important thing is that you get better, so don't feel bad okay?" Joe told him firmly. "I called everyone last night and the wedding has been postponed until you are well enough to be the best man in my wedding." Joe said looking at Sarah and loving her more for being so supportive of Sav and all the guys.

"Hey, I am going to go get the guys, they are worried to death about you. I am going to go get them so they can stop worrying." Joe stood up and left to go get Phil, Rick, and Viv. Sarah stayed with Sav and
sat beside him. "I think the medication is finally kicking in. I am not in as much pain now." Sav said his expression clearing. Just then Joe came back in with the guys. Phil grinned at the sight of his friend awake and talking. Rick and Viv smiled at Sav relieved to see that their friend was going to be okay. They all sat around talking to Sav until the nurse kicked them out telling them Sav needed his rest. They all went out to the waiting room to let Sav sleep and the doctor was going to take him for some tests to make sure there wasn't going to be any permanent damage. All of them were sitting around talking when two uniformed police officers came in. They approached the nurses station asking what room Richard Savage was in.

Joe approached them. "My name is Joe Elliott and I am Sav's friend. Is there anything wrong officer?" Joe inquired. "Mr. Elliott we want to question Mr. Savage about the accident and find out whether or not he had been drinking that night. We just want to make sure that we have all the details in case there are charges filed." The officer explained. "I heard that the other driver had been drinking. Is this true?" Joe asked the officer. "Yes he was twice the legal limit and has been charged with DUI and reckless driving. If Mr. Savage is proven to have been drinking that night, he too will be charged with DUI and reckless driving." The other officer told him.

"That guy almost kills my best friend and all you're charging him with is DUI and reckless driving." Joe said angrily. "We are still investigating it, so he may face other charges as well. We just want to get all the facts before pursuing other charges." The officer told him impatiently. "How is that guy anyway, is he going to make it?" Joe asked more out of wonder than concern because he almost lost his friend because of him. "He'll make it. He wasn't as severely injured as your friend." The officer explained.

"Officer, Mr. Savage is being taken down for tests so it will be awhile before you can question him." The nurse told him. "I'll wait." He told her and sat down to wait for them to bring Sav back. "What if they do find out that Sav had a few drinks before the accident? Sav was a little buzzed when we left the bar." Joe said a frown creasing his brow.

"That had been hours before though so it should have worn off by then. I called Nicole and she said that he had come over to her house right before the accident and that's why he was so late heading home. Maybe he got tired and started falling asleep at the wheel." Phil said trying to make sense of it all. "That's probably it. Even if it isn't it's highly unlikely that there would have been much alcohol left in his system." Viv said in a whisper so the policeman wouldn't overhear.

"Is Nicole coming up to the hospital today Phil?" Rick asked him. "Yes she said she would be coming by." Phil looked at his watch. "She should be here any minute now. She said around 2:00 p.m. and it's just a little before that now. Just as Phil said it, Nicole walked in carrying some flowers for Sav. "Hi guys, how is Sav doing?" Nicole asked concerned. "He is being taken for some tests right now." Joe told her. "I wish I would have been here when he woke up, but I was at work when I got the call from the hospital." Nicole said with a sad tone in her voice.

Joe put his arm around her and kissed her forehead. "It's okay Nicole. He hasn't been awake long and he was pretty out of it for awhile." Joe said putting his hand under her chin so she was looking him in the eye. "Thanks, I still feel bad that I wasn't here for him but from what the doctors had told me, there was no way of knowing when he would come out of it." Nicole said trying not to cry.

Sarah walked up to Nicole and gave her a hug. "The most important thing is that Sav is going to be okay now. That's what we need to be thankful for." Sarah said looking at Joe. "That's right. Sav is going to be fine now. I confess that I was very scared we were going to lose him though." Joe said grimly thinking of how Sav had looked when they first brought him in. They had all been talking when the doctor came out. "How is he doctor?" Phil asked walking over to him. "He is doing much better. The swelling has gone down in his head and the fracture is healing nicely. He does however have a long ways to go before he is ready to be released." The doctor said seeing the two policeman as they came over to talk with him.

"If you want you may go see him, he's back in his room but don't stay too long cause I want him to get his rest." The doctor said firmly. "Thanks doctor." Joe said walking down the hall with Sarah and Phil, Rick, Viv and Nicole right behind them. Joe looked back and the officers were questioning the doctor about Sav. "I am really worried about this whole thing. I don't want Sav to get in any trouble." Joe said with a serious expression. "I know sweetheart and I am guessing that he won't because like Phil said it should have been worn off by the time he rode home." Sarah told him hoping she sounded positive.

They arrived in Sav's room and he was sitting up feeling no pain because of the medication they had given him. "Are you feeling better Sav?" Rick asked him happy to see him moving around more. "I do feel better, but I wish the food in this place didn't stink so bad." He said looking at the plate in front of him. Joe laughed looking at his plate glad he didn't have to eat it.

Sav had been given some kind of jello type stuff and some other food that couldn't quite be identified. "I feel for you buddy, but as soon as you get better I will sneak you in some real food. How would that be?" Joe said looking at the plate in disgust. "That would be great. I guess until then I am stuck with this slop." Sav said pushing the plate away and making a face. They were all cracking jokes about the hospital food when the two policeman walked in. Sav looked up and the room became quiet. "Mr. Savage, we would like to talk to you about the accident. Are you feeling up to it?" One of the officers asked him. "I guess so. What do you need to know?" Sav asked worriedly. "We need you to tell us as best you can all the events leading up to the accident. Where did you leave from right before it happened and where you had been before the accident. If you don't remember all of it that's okay, just tell us what you can Mr. Savage."

"I'll do my best." Sav said thinking. "Me and my friends here all went over to the Leopard room that night because we were throwing Joe a bachelor party. We left to go to Phil' s house and stayed there for awhile and then he brought us all back to our cars. After that I went over to my girlfriends house. After leaving her house I was driving home down Monroe street and then I turned up Holly street so I could get onto the highway. I got to the highway and then all of a sudden there was a car coming straight at me. I swerved to avoid him and lost control and ended up hitting him head on." Sav told them tears welling up in his eyes thinking of the other car and that he may have killed somebody.

"Did you have anything to drink that night Mr. Savage?" The officer asked him writing down what Sav had said so far. "I had a few drinks but that was hours before the accident happened." Sav explained. "Mr.
Savage, you just told me that you had gotten in your car and left after your friend here brought you back to the club. So that would mean you got behind the wheel while under the influence. Isn't that right Mr. Savage?" The officer said to him looking at Sav.

"Yes I guess that's right. I did drive when Phil brought me back. I had only drove a couple of blocks to her house and I didn't leave till a few hours later when the accident happened. Anything I had to drink that night had worn off by then." Sav told them trying to explain.

"It doesn't matter if it was across the street Mr. Savage, it's dangerous to drink and drive no matter how much or how little you may have had. You are lucky this time around Mr. Savage because we can't prove that you had been drinking that night and whether or not it may have had anything to do with the accident. Just remember in the future not to get behind the wheel of a car after you have been drinking." The officer said standing up to leave.

"I will remember. Thanks officers. How is the guy that I hit? Is he going to be okay?" Sav asked with concern. "Yes he will be fine. He had been drinking that night also and that's why he hit you. So, alcohol played a big part in it, even if you never had anything that night. Once he is out of the hospital he will be going to jail for awhile and we will need you to testify in court just what you told us so that we can hopefully get this guy off the streets for awhile." The officer said holding out his hand. Sav shook it. "Thanks again officers." Sav said smiling. "Just remember what we said." The policeman told him with a very serious expression.

With that the policeman left and Sav let out a breath of relief. "I am so glad that's over. I was afraid I was going to jail for a minute." Sav said leaning back to rest. "We were too buddy. When I saw the cops I thought sure they had come to read you your rights." Joe said sitting down in the chair beside Sav. "It was really stupid to get behind the wheel after drinking.

From now on, insist on driving even if you have to kick my ass to get the keys away from me okay?" Sav said to all of them. "Don't worry buddy, I'll be glad to kick your ass anytime you want." Joe told him
cracking up. "Wise guy. You wait till I get out of here and get this cast off, I will show you who can kick who's ass." Sav picked up the pillow behind him and threw it at Joe. Joe laughed ducking out of the way. "I am so glad to hear you joking around Sav. It's music to my ears." Joe smiled at him for the first time since the accident he truly felt Sav would make a full recovery. A few days later Sav was out of bed trying to learn how to walk on crutches. He was making remarkable progress. He still experienced a lot of pain walking because of his ribs but other than that he got around pretty good. Joe and the other guys were up to see him on a daily basis and Joe as promised brought him his favorite foods sneaking them in under his
jacket.

Sarah came with Joe most days and the other days she spent fixing up the guest room for Sav because he was going to stay with them while he recovered. The doctors planned on releasing him in a about four
more days and for Sav it wasn't soon enough. He was bugging the nurses to death about wanting to get out of there, and were probably going to be glad to get rid of him. Joe walked into the room when he heard him asking the nurses about when exactly he could leave.

"Sav are you being a pain in the ass as usual?" Joe asked him jokingly. "Am I being a pain nurse?" Sav asked her. "You want me to be honest, yes you are." The nurse walked out to go get some fresh linens for his bed. Joe cracked up at what the nurse said. "Oh shut up Joe. No one asked for your opinion." Sav snapped. "Relax buddy, I am just giving you a hard time. Don't get so uptight." Joe told him trying not to laugh. "I'm sorry, I am just going stir crazy in this place. I want to go home." Sav said gloomily.

The doctor came in just then carrying Sav's chart. "Mr. Savage I have the latest test results and you will be happy to know that they show great improvement so I decided to release you today as long as you promise not to overdue it." The doctor told him in a serious tone. Sav grinned. "I promise. I am so glad to be getting out of here." Sav said happily. "He will be staying with Sarah and me while he recovers doctor and Sarah will keep him in line I guarantee it." Joe told him laughing. "Good, I will go get your release papers ready Mr. Savage." The doctor left the room. "Will you get my clothes for me Joe? I want to get out of here as soon as possible." Sav said getting up. "Sure."

Joe walked over to the closet to get Sav his things when he heard a crash behind him. Sav trying to get up on his crutches slipped a little and knocked the table over and was about to fall when Joe caught him. "Are you okay Sav?" Joe asked concerned. "Yes, thanks for catching me. I almost landed on my ass and that would have hurt like hell." Sav said sitting on the bed trying to catch his breath. "Just sit there a minute while I get your things and then I will help you. Sarah is bringing some other pants for you to wear because they had to cut up your pants because of the broken leg." Joe explained trying not to remember that awful night that seemed like a million days ago. "I know and those were my favorite one's too." Sav told him frowning. "I am sure you will be able to get another pair. Joe said throwing the clothes on the bed and shutting the door.

Sarah came into the room carrying a giant paper bag full of Sav's things for him to try on to see which one's he would be able to wear over the cast. "Here you go Sav, I didn't know which you would be able to wear so Nicole helped me out and put together a few things." She told him handing him the bag. "Thank you so much Sarah." Sav said smiling and giving her a kiss on the cheek. Sav looked through the bag to see which things he would be able to wear and deciding on the silver jogging type pants he had worn to the last concert.

"Hey Sarah do want to help me get dressed?" Sav asked her grinning evilly. Sarah blushed at his suggestion. "Do you want another broken leg Sav cause you are asking for one." Joe told him giving him a dirty look. "Relax Joe I was just kidding." Sav said laughing at the expression on his face. "Just see that that's all you do." Joe said firmly. "Joe Elliott I do believe you are the jealous type." Sarah said with a smile. "Yes, and don't you forget it." Joe said kissing her.

"You have to lighten up Joe, I am only interested in Nicole, you know that." Sav said grinning at him. "I know Sav, and I'm sorry I guess I am just so crazy about you Sarah that I wouldn't want anyone else stealing you away from me." Joe said looking at her and hugging her tight. Sarah kissed him and Joe returned it, kissing her passionately and pulling her to him. "Excuse me, but there is other people in the
room." Sav said clearing his throat. Joe broke the kiss and turned toward Sav to discover Nicole, Rick, Phil and Viv had entered the room. Sarah blushed and put her head on Joe's shoulder looking away. Sav started cracking up and the other's followed. Joe grinned at them sheepishly. "Alright wise guys the show's over." Joe said trying not to laugh. They were all having a good laugh at Joe's expense when the
doctor came in carrying Sav's chart and some papers.

"Well Mr. Savage I have your release papers here, all you have to do is sign them and you're free to go." He told him handing him the papers. "It is such a relief to finally get out of here." Sav said signing his name on the papers. "The nurses will be glad your gone too Sav." Joe said with a smirk. Phil and the rest of them started laughing remembering how Sav had been giving them a hard time. "You are so not funny Joe. I happen to think I was a very good patient." Sav told him defiantly.

"That's not what the nurses tell me Mr. Savage." The doctor said with a laugh. Joe started laughing so hard he had to sit down before he fell down."Okay Joe, now that you have all had your laughs can you
please take me home?" Sav said angrily. "Sure thing buddy, I will go get a wheel chair and we'll spring you from this joint." Joe said still chuckling at what the doctor had said. He left to find a wheel chair and Phil came over to help Sav stand up and get his crutches.

By the time Sav was standing up by leaning on Phil and getting his crutches underneath him, Joe had come in with a wheel chair. Joe put the chair behind Sav and he sat down grabbing his side and grunting
in pain from having jarred his ribs. "You okay buddy?" Phil asked seeing Sav's eyes cloud over. "I'm okay, just sat down too fast and it hurt my ribs." Sav said his expression clearing. "Now remember to take it easy Mr. Savage, no over doing it and stay off your feet as much as possible." The doctor told him with a very serious tone. "Not to worry doctor, if he tries to over due it, I will personally bring him back to the hospital where he will stay until the cast comes off or he drives everyone completely insane, whichever comes first." Joe said laughing. "Yes, if he gets out of line I will make sure to put him back in his place." Sarah told him ruffling Sav's hair. "I will behave I promise." Sav said holding up his right hand like he was being sworn in.

"Good Mr. Savage, now I want to see you in one week to see how you are doing okay?" The doctor asked him. "Okay doctor and thanks for everything." Sav said shaking his hand. "Okay buddy let's get you home." Joe said pushing Sav out the door. Phil went to get his car to take Sav home in since Joe's car would be too hard to get out of and Viv and Rick tagged along to help Phil transfer some of their equipment to their cars so Phil would have room to put in the wheel chair and Sav's crutches and all the flowers Sav had gotten while he had been in the hospital. Joe wheeled Sav out and Joe and Phil helped
Sav into the car while Viv loaded up the wheelchair.

"I'll see you at the house guys." Joe said as him and Sarah got in the car to head home. "Okay Joe, we'll be right behind you." Rick said waving as Phil drove out of the parking lot. "I am so relieved that he is coming home. After the accident I was afraid that I was going to lose one of the best friends I have ever had." Joe said to Sarah his expression sad at the thought. "I know sweetheart but he's fine now and you will see that he will be back to his old self in no time. He already is. He's just going to have a long healing process." Sarah placed her hand on Joe's face and stroked his cheek.

"You have been so great Sarah, I love you very much." Joe kissed her fondly and smiled at her as he started home. Once back at the house Phil, Rick and Viv pulled in behind Joe and Sarah and Joe got out to
go unlock the door. After Sav had been brought in the house he immediately sat on the sofa, exhausted from the short walk to the house. "Are you okay Sav, can I get you anything?" Joe asked as he set down some of the flowers on the counter. "No, I am fine, I just want to enjoy the fact that I don't have to be in that hospital." Sav said as he leaned his head back against the sofa. "I want to know when you plan to go ahead with your marriage plans Joe, I feel bad enough that you had to put it off because of me." Sav said his expression clouding over with sadness.

"I don't want you blaming yourself Sav you understand?" "It's not your fault okay?" Sarah said turning his face to meet her eyes and smiling at him. "Okay, I just don't want you to put things off any longer than you have to." Sav said looking at Joe. "There will be a wedding, we just want you 100% before we get married because you are the best man after all." Joe said grinning.

"That's right, someone has to vouch for you because no one else will." Sav said laughing. "Hey Phil, the part of best man just opened, are you interested?" Joe said to him trying to be mad, but not succeeding. "Sure thing Joe." Phil said chuckling. "Hey don't think you're going to take my job away from me." Sav said to Phil throwing the pillow on the sofa at him. "Well Sav I am glad you are home, but we have to get going. You need your rest anyway." Phil said patting Sav on the shoulder. "Okay guys I will see you later, you don't mind if I don't get up do you?" Sav said with a laugh.

"Okay Sav I want you in bed right now." Sarah instructed. Sav stood up and headed for the bedroom. Sarah put her arm around him so he could lean on her. "Okay guys we don't want to be disturbed." Sav
said grinning. "No monkey business Sav." Joe said looking at him with a look that told Sav he was only half serious.

The guys laughed as they walked out the door to go home. The next four weeks went by quicker than they had anticipated and Sav was just about healed from his injuries. His ribs had healed and he was due to get his cast off in one week. Joe and Sarah decided to have the wedding the day after Sav got his cast off. Joe and Sarah were ecstatic about getting married and feeling a little nervous at the same time.

Sarah had called all the relatives and friends informing them that the wedding was back on and soon the house was filled with relatives that had come to stay with them until the wedding. The day before the
wedding had come and Phil had picked up Sav to take him to the doctor to get the cast off.  Since Sav had totaled his car in the accident all of them had chipped in and bought him a new car and they were planning to surprise him with it when he got back.

"Here they come up the driveway." Joe said and they all rushed
outside to greet them. Sav got out of the car and Joe saw his cast
was gone. "Cool Sav now you can drive yourself around and I won't
have to be your chauffeur." Joe said grinning devilishly. "Are you
forgetting that my car is in a junk yard somewhere smashed up." Sav
said gloomily. "I loved that car." Sav told him with a look of
sadness.

"Sav don't worry about it. I was only kidding. I tell you what, you can use my car whenever you want." Joe told him and Sav looked suspiciously at Joe wondering if he was pulling his chain. "No kidding Joe." Sav asked wondering what the catch was. "No kidding buddy. The keys are in the garage go take her out for a spin." Joe said grinning and walking to the garage and opened it. When the door opened Sav looked inside and his mouth dropped open when he saw a black porsche sitting there with a giant red bow.

"Oh my god guys, you got me a car?" Sav asked not believing what he was seeing. "We know how much you loved your car and we decided that since you have done so much for us over the years we wanted to return the favor by replacing the car you loved so much." Phil told him clapping him on the shoulder. "Thank you guys so much." Sav said getting in the car to look inside. "We're glad you like it buddy."
Joe said with a smile.

Sav's eyes brimmed with tears as it all sunk in. They smiled knowing they had done the right thing. Sav took them all for spins in his new porsche  enjoying showing off the car. Nicole had come over and Sav
took her out for a drive while the rest of them stayed behind going over last minute details of the wedding tomorrow afternoon. By the time Joe and Sarah had taken care of the last of the wedding plans it was around  midnight and everyone had gone home to bed.

"I can't believe we are getting married tomorrow Joe." Sarah said kissing him affectionately. "I know, and I can't wait to make you my wife Sarah Parker." Joe said taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately. "Yes Mr. Elliott, you have to make an honest woman out of me you know." Sarah said grinning at him. "That's right, I don't want anyone to get the impression that you are a bad person, even
though we both know you are." Joe said evilly. "Oh really Joe, you think I'm bad." Sarah said laughing.

"You bet I do, but no one has to know that but me." Joe said picking her up in his arms and carrying her to the bedroom. Everyone had decided at the last minute to stay in a hotel so Joe and Sarah had the whole place to themselves. Joe wanted to take full advantage of it. Joe lay Sarah on the bed and took off his shirt and pants, then quickly removed her clothes and they made love with the passion of how much they loved each other and fell asleep wrapped in each others arms.

The next afternoon was very busy because the house was once again filled with friends and family and they were all doing their best to help Joe and Sarah get things ready for the wedding. Sarah had to get her gown over to the church and Sav, Rick, Viv, and Phil were coming over to ride with Joe to the ceremony. "I can't find the tie to my tux Sarah, have you seen it honey?" Joe asked looking all through the drawers and through the pockets of the jacket.

"No Joe, I haven't seen it. I have been busy looking for my necklace. Did you look in the closet where you had the tux, maybe it fell on the floor." Sarah said as she found the necklace she was looking for and was put it on. Joe looked on the floor of the closet and sure enough there it was. "It's here, thanks honey." Joe said giving her a kiss. Joe heard the doorbell ring and went to answer it. "That's probably Sav and the guys." Joe opened the door to let them in. "Hi guys, come on in I am just about ready to go. I will be out in a minute." Joe explained as they sat down on the sofa to wait for Joe.

When Joe walked in Sarah had her gown draped over her arm along with the shoes she was going to wear. "Sure I can't peek at the dress Sarah?" Joe asked as he tried unzipping the garment bag. She smacked his hand. "No Joe you may not see it until you see me walking down the isle." Sarah told him grabbing the zipper before he could undo it. "Okay, whatever it looks like it will pale in comparison to you love." Joe said kissing her on the lips. Sarah smiled. "You are so sweet." Sarah said returning his kiss.

Just then Nicole walked in the bedroom to find out if Sarah was ready to go. "I'm ready whenever you are Nicole. Joe the next time you see me I will be walking down that isle to marry you." Sarah said taking him in her arms and hugging him tightly. "I can't wait love. I will see you there." Sarah gave him a kiss and her and Nicole left for the church. After everyone had left Joe, Phil, Rick, and Sav put on their tux's and headed over to the church as well. When they arrived the church was filled with the bride and grooms family and friends that came to celebrate the marriage of Joe and Sarah. Sarah and Nicole were in the bridal room and Sarah was putting on her wedding gown. The wedding gown was the most beautiful one Sarah had ever seen.

It was white satin trimmed all in lace and the bodice was decorated in little pearls with sequins to set it off. The gown had a train that seemed to flow endlessly behind her. It had a high collar neckline with a little diamond shape cut out just below the neck with a little pearl hanging from it. The veil was lace and had some more of the little pearls stitched into the trim. Sarah stood before the mirror to examine herself.

"Sarah, you look absolutely beautiful." Nicole exclaimed as she straightened her veil. "Thank you. I am so nervous. I have butterflies like you wouldn't believe." Sarah said putting her hand on her stomach and taking a deep breath. Nicole smiled at her. "All brides are nervous at their own weddings but I think the men probably get more nervous, don't you?" Nicole said with a grin. "You're probably right. I love Joe so much, and I can't wait to become Mrs. Joe Elliott." Sarah said with pride. "I wonder how Joe and the guys
are holding up?" Sarah wondered.

Joe paced nervously as he was trying to straighten his tie. It felt like it was strangling him. "You have to relax buddy, this is supposed to be the happiest day of your life." Sav said grinning at Joe. "I know and it is, I am just so nervous. My heart feels like it wants to jump right out of my chest." Joe said wringing his
hands. "Hey Joe if you can't go through with it, I will gladly take your place." Rick said jokingly. "Not on your life Rick, I wouldn't trade places for anything." Joe said smiling. Phil looked at his watch. "It's time to get you married Joe." Phil said clapping him on the shoulder. They walked out to take their places in the front of the church. The priest was already there and smiled at them when they came out. Joe looked down the isle to wait for his beautiful bride. The organist began the wedding march as their family and friends stood to watch Sarah walk down the isle. Joe smiled at the sight of Sarah. She looked so beautiful. God how he loved her.

Sarah's eyes sparkled with tears as she took her place beside Joe. He took her hand in his and they turned and faced the priest. Sav, and the rest of the guys looked on smiling at Joe happy for their friend. "We are gathered here today to join Joe and Sarah together in holy matrimony. They have invited us to share in their joy as they express their love for each other. Joe and Sarah have written their own vows to each other. Joe you may begin."

"Sarah I knew from the moment I saw you that I loved you and wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. As each day passes, I only love you more. You are my destiny and my soul mate. You are the air
that I breathe and you are the beat of my heart. I no longer remember my life without you in it and I do not want a life without you. I love you."

"Joseph you may place the ring on Sarah's finger." The priest told him. Joe took the wedding ring from Sav and put in on Sarah's finger. "With this ring I thee wed." Joe said smiling at Sarah never loving her more at this very moment. "Sarah now you may say your vows to Joseph." The priest said turning to her.

"Joe you are my knight in shining armor and my Prince charming. You are my Star that guides me when I have lost my way and my moon when the night is dark. You are the sunshine that brightens my world when the day is gloomy and warms me when the days grow cool. Without you in my life my star would fall and my moon would fade, and the sun would no longer shine. You are my world and I don't want to live without you." Sarah said tears brimming her eyes. "Sarah you may place Joseph's ring on his finger. Nicole gave Sarah the ring and she placed it on Joe's hand. "With this ring I thee wed." Sarah said
smiling at Joe her voice cracking with emotion. "By the power vested in me I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest told them smiling. Joe lifted Sarah's veil and kissed her deeply. "I give you Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Elliott." The priest announced as they broke the kiss and walked back down the isle.

Sarah could no longer control her emotions as tears ran down her cheeks. He reached out and brushed her tears away. Joe smiled at her giving her a kiss. He never felt happier. Sav gave Joe a hug. "Congratulations buddy." "Thanks Sav." Joe hugged him back. Phil congratulated him along with Viv, and Rick. Joe and Sarah rushed out the door to the waiting limousine as rice was being thrown at them
and all their friends and family cheered for them.

They made it to the limousine and shut the door behind them and rolled down the window. Joe and Sarah waved out the window as the limo pulled away to take them to the reception over at Sav's house. "I love you Sarah." Joe said taking her in his arms. "I love you too Joe." Sarah kissed him passionately.

Joe deepened his kiss not wanting to let her go. He held her in his arms until the limo pulled into Sav's and the chauffeur opened the door for them. Sav, Rick, Phil and Viv had already arrived when they got there. Joe had instructed the driver to take the long way so he could have Sarah to himself for a little longer.

Sav's driveway was packed full of the cars from the wedding. Joe and Sarah got out and entered the house and was immediately greeted by family and friends congratulating them on their marriage.

Once everyone had given them their congratulations Joe and Sarah went over to the buffet table to cut the wedding cake. Joe sliced a little piece off and offered it to Sarah. She leaned over to take a bite and Joe pushed the cake in her face getting frosting all over her nose. "Joe Elliott, I am gonna get you for that one." Sarah said laughing.

"Promises, promises." Joe told her laughing. He leaned over and kissed her her lips sweet from the frosting. Sarah sliced off a piece and shoved it in Joe's face and he was covered in frosting and crumbs. "Okay, you got me good. I deserved it." Joe said wiping the cake off his face with a napkin. "Just wait till we're alone tonight Mrs. Elliott I will make sure to get my revenge for that little stunt." Joe said whispering in her ear. "Promises, promises." Sarah said with a sarcastic grin.

After the cake had been cut the newlyweds took to the dance floor to dance their first dance as husband and wife. Joe took her in his arms holding her close as they danced to their song The Flame. Joe had
only eyes for Sarah as they spun around the dance floor. Everything else ceased to exist. "I love you Sarah Elliott with all my heart." Joe said kissing her fully on the lips. "I love you too Joe." Sarah returned his kiss as the song came to an end but still not letting go of each other.

"Joe may I dance with this beautiful lady?" Sav asked coming up to them. "Sure Sav, just behave yourself." Joe told him grinning. "Don't I always?" Sav said with a devilish smile. "I won't answer that one wise guy." Joe said kissing Sarah and stepping back so Sav and her could dance. "I'll be watching you Sav so watch out." Joe said jokingly. "Yes sir." Sav said smartly and whisked her away for their dance.

Phil, Rick, and Viv all took their turns dancing with Sarah and Joe was finally able to take her in his arms and dance with her once more. After their dance was finished it was time for the opening of the gifts. Joe and Sarah sat down at a huge table filled with wedding presents from family and friends. From most of the relatives they received the usual, toasters, blenders, towels, and such. Most of the gifts had been open and there was one final gift and it was from Phil, Sav, Viv, and Rick.

"Okay guys, what did you give us? Is it going to jump out at me or is it going to embarrass the hell out of us?" Joe said laughingly. "We're hurt Joe. Do you think we would give you a gift like that?" Sav said grinning. "Yes you would smart ass." Joe said teasingly. "Just open it huh?" Phil said impatiently. "Okay, don't get testy." Joe said smiling. Joe lifted the lid and inside was two plane tickets and the destination said first class round trip to Hawaii. "Oh my god Joe, Hawaii. I have always wanted to go to Hawaii." Sarah said excitedly.

"We all chipped in and got those for you as our appreciation for everything you both have done for us. Sarah for you for putting up with me while I was recovering and for you Joe for your years of dedication and hard work with the band and of course friendship." Sav said proudly. "I don't know what to say except thank you guys. This is a very wonderful gift." Joe told them looking at the tickets not believing what they had done. "You are welcome you two, just have fun and come back with a tan and a couple of pineapples for us." Rick said grinning.

"Don't worry we will right Sarah?" Joe said putting his arm around her. "That's right, it's the least we can do for you since you got us such an extravagant gift." Sarah said walking up to them and hugging each one of them. Joe hugged them all as well telling each of them thanks. Sarah's eyes welled up with tears she was so happy right then. "Hey love what's the matter?" Joe asked concerned. "I am just very happy Joe, very happy." Sarah said giving him a kiss. "Alright enough with the sappy stuff Joe, isn't it time for Sarah to have that garter removed?" Sav asked grinning. "Oh yes, the garter." Joe said smiling at Sarah. Joe bent down and removed the garter from her shapely leg and threw it behind him. Phil caught it as it flew by. "You know what that means Phil. You will be next to get married." Joe looked at him grinning slyly. "Yeah right. Will never happen." Phil said laughing.

Next all the ladies lined up for Sarah to throw the bouquet. Sarah threw it behind her and looked as Nicole caught it. Nicole was ecstatic. "Do I hear wedding bells? Does this mean a double wedding Sav?" Joe said mockingly. Sav grinned at Phil. "Hey how about it Phil?" "Isn't it time for you two to be leaving for that honeymoon?" Phil said changing the subject. "Yes, I think so. I have shared my beautiful bride enough I want her all to myself." Joe said giving her a kiss.

Sarah smiled at the thought and grabbed Joe's hand as they headed for the door. "I want you all to myself too Joe Elliott." Sarah said and leaned over to him and whispered something in his ear so that no one
could over hear. Joe grinned at what she said and picked her up and carried her out to the limo. "Bye guys, thanks for coming to the wedding and for all the great gifts and we will see you in one week."
Joe told them as he sat Sarah down in the limo. "Bye Joe, and don't do anything I wouldn't do." Viv instructed. "I guess that leaves pretty much everything wide open doesn't it?" Joe said teasingly.

Viv picked up a handful of rice and threw it at Joe. "Get out of here smartass. Go on your honeymoon." Viv told him waving goodbye. Joe got in and he and Sarah waved out the window as the limo pulled out to
take them to the airport. Joe shut the window and turned to Sarah. "Alone at last." Joe said embracing her and kissing her passionately. The ride to the airport seemed a little too quick as the driver pulled up to the terminal and opened the door for them. Joe had hoped for a little longer ride with his beautiful wife. Joe
took Sarah's hand and they walked into the airport with their bags in hand. After checking in they handed their tickets to the ticket agent and walked to the airplane. Soon the flight was underway and Joe and Sarah sat back to wait for the arrival in Hawaii. "I can't believe we are going to Hawaii." Sarah exclaimed happily. "I know, that was so great of the guys giving us this trip. We will have to bring them back more than just pineapples." Joe said looking at Sarah.

"We'll have to see what we can find for them." Sarah said looking out the window to enjoy the scenery. Joe turned her face to him so she was looking into his eyes. "I love you so much Sarah. I am so proud
to call you my wife." Joe said smiling at her affectionately. "I love you too Joe, very very much, never forget it." Sarah said as she kissed him ever so gently on the lips.

Before they knew it the plane landed in Hawaii and Joe and Sarah grabbed their carry on bags and left the plane. They were greeted by some Hawaiian natives who put a lay around their necks as they walked toward the hotel where they would be staying. They checked in and headed to the room. A bell hop carried their luggage for them to the room and when the bellhop opened the door for them Joe picked Sarah up in his arms and carried her over the threshold.

He set her down and turned to the bellhop to give him a tip. "Thank you sir, and enjoy your stay." The bellhop said as he left. "We will. Don't worry." Joe turned to Sarah and took her in his arms. "Well Mr.
Elliott what shall we do first?" Sarah asked grinning at him. "I can think of lots of things and none of them involve leaving this room." Joe said smiling devilishly at her. "I love how you think Joe." Sarah
told him kissing him deeply.

Joe tightened his hold on Sarah deepening the kiss even more as he ran his hands down her body and unbuttoning her blouse. He quickly removed it and removed her bra. Then he undid her jeans and slid them off her body, removing her panties along with them. After throwing them aside he glided his hands up her side and caressed her breasts as he kissed her with an intensity stronger than he ever remembered.
Sarah moaned softly as he kept one hand teasing her nipple while moving his other hand down to her inner thigh.

Suddenly Joe broke the kiss and stepped away from her. "Why did you stop Joe, don't you realize how much I want you?" Sarah said looking at him, her eyes glazed with desire. "Oh yes love I know, but first I
have a surprise for you." Joe took her hand and guided her to the bathroom where she discovered that he had filled the bathtub and sprinkled rose petals on top of the water. He brought her over to the tub and she stepped in and sat down.

Joe then proceeded to remove his clothes. Sarah's eyes lingered on every inch of him as she trailed her eyes down his body that was hardened with his desire for her. Joe got into the tub and sat behind her. The room was lit with candles placed all around the room their glow bathing them in it's flickering light. Joe took the washcloth and began washing Sarah's back while the other hand rubbed the fragrant petals all over her skin, caressing her with their softness.

Joe stood up and pulled Sarah with him. He turned her back to him and he washed her lower back moving still lower caressing her bottom and down her thighs. Joe began kissing her neck leaving subtle little
nips along the nape of her neck, steadily moving downward to the small of her back. Sarah sighed deeply his kisses feeling like fire licking her skin. He smoothly slid his hand around to the front of her thigh parting her legs with one movement.

He dropped the washcloth in the water before guiding his hand between her legs and rubbing her clit gently with his thumb. Sarah let out a gasp as he entered her with his fingers while still stroking her with
his thumb. He guided his other hand around to her breast and teased her nipple with his palm. Sarah leaned against him her legs feeling weak from his burning touch and reaching behind her to massage his
very hardened cock. He let out a moan as she stroked him, making him increase his motions of pleasuring her. She moaned in ecstasy wriggling under his hand as he stroked her.

Joe turned Sarah around so she was facing him and kissed her deeply, a groan escaping his lips as she increased her strokes making his breath catch. She broke the kiss and bent down to take him in,
teasing him at first with her tongue relishing every inch of him as she took him in. Joe's breath became ragged as she speeded up her strokes. Before he could explode he brought her up to him and sat down in the tub guiding her with him. She sat astride him biting her lip as he entered her. He slid his hands up her wet body massaging her breasts with his wet slippery hands and pinched her nipples causing her to cry out.

His thrusts became harder and increased feverishly as he came within her. He continued his thrusts while stroking her with his hand and she screamed in pleasure as she climaxed her body trembling with the
excitement of her orgasm. He pulled her close to him kissing her with tender desire their muscles still tense from their passion. "Now wasn't that worth waiting for my love?" He asked her smiling. "Oh yes
Joe, it was very worth it." Sarah told him kissing him savoring the softness of his lips. "I think we had better get out of this water. I just realized the water has turned cold on us." Joe said standing.

"That's funny, I never noticed." Sarah said laughing and stepping out. Joe grabbed a towel and began drying her body. He gently rubbed her down, the towel absorbing the little beads of water that clung to
her skin. Sarah moaned softly as he rubbed the towel across her breasts causing a slight friction that hardened her nipples with desire. She turned around and quickly took the towel from him and began drying him off. She started at his chest working her way down his body taking care not to miss an inch of any wetness on his skin.

She brought the towel to his stomach and then brought it between his legs to dry his once again hardened desire. He let out a soft moan as she rubbed the towel against him teasing the tip of him with the roughness of the towel. He grabbed the towel from her and threw it on the floor. He picked her up and she wrapped her legs around him as he carried her to the bedroom. He laid her on the bed and climbed on top
of her. He parted her legs with his powerful thighs and entered her.

His thrusts became strong and fast and intensified as he teased her nipples with his tongue, pinching each one with his fingers. She cried out as his thrusts deepened and he exploded within her. His climax sent her over the edge as she came, her body tightening with every spasm. Joe laid against her their bodies glistening with their passion. "Sarah I can never seem to get enough of you. Every time I make love to you, it just makes me want you more." Joe told her grinning at her.

"I can say the same thing about you Joe Elliott. You are an incredible lover and my desire for you is never quenched because you always make me thirst for more." She brushed the hair out of his eyes and kissed him deeply as if to prove what she said was true. They lay together their bodies clinging to each other from their spent desire and soon fell asleep exhausted from the intensity of their love. They awoke in each others arms to the sound of the ocean in the background. Joe was starved and rose to order room service. He knew he would need nourishment because he planned on making love to his beautiful wife all day. Joe sat down beside the bed and looked at Sarah still sleeping soundly. She was laying on her stomach and he
bent down kissing her shoulder and slowly making his way down her spine. She stirred and turned over to look up at him. "Good morning sleepyhead, I hope you're hungry." Joe said grinning at her. "Hungry, I am completely starved." She told him giving him a kiss.
