The day began just like any other but for me it was anything but typical. I
had a shit week and was ready for relaxation. I had to Christmas shop the
entire week and by the time I was done I felt totally drained. My coworker
decided that this was the time to take a vacation and had me covering her
ass.  Thank God the work week is almost over. It was now Thursday and also
my birthday. My coworkers usually brought me goodies and stuff but today I
didn't feel like it. I had lost my appetite, but felt as if this isn't
really such a bad thing.

I looked up at the clock and was thrilled to see that I only had one more
hour till I could go home. I will be going over to Moms later for the annual
birthday party and after that I just wanted to go home and veg out in front
of the television. After about 45 minutes of dealing with grumpy co workers
and an even  grumpier boss I began putting away my things so I could go home
& make popcorn and watch movies for 8 hours straight. I had spent nearly 6
hours wrapping presents the night before and if I ever saw another unwrapped
present it would remain unwrapped because I was done with it till next year
as far as I am concerned.

Once my stuff had been put away and my computer turned off I grabbed my coat
and headed home. I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a
ringing phone. I picked it up on the third ring. "Hello." I sat down on the
couch and kicked off my shoes. "Hey Julie, Happy Birthday." I smiled at
hearing my friends voice. "Gina, how the hell are you?" I laughed hearing

matter how down I felt. "I'm fine, I just called to tell you to get dressed
up , we are taking you out tonight." I laid my head back on the sofa rolling
my eyes. "Oh Gina luv, I really didn't feel like going out tonight. I wanted
to just veg on the couch and watch movies."  I heard Gina snicker. "Not
tonight Julie, you are going out with us." I stood up & walked toward the
bedroom.
"Who is we anyway Gina?" I rummaged through my closet in search of something
to wear knowing that Gina wasn't going to take no for an answer. "We is
Ramona and me." I laughed remembering the last time all three of them went
out together. They had almost gotten arrested. It was at a Def Leppard
concert and Gina thought it would be a good idea to follow the tour bus to
the hotel where they were staying. Against my better judgment I decided to
go along with it, but secretly I loved the idea. After pulling into the
parking lot of the hotel not too far behind the tour buses we found a place
to park and waited till they parked and got out and began walking toward

Gina and Ramona were giggling like a couple of schoolgirls and all I could
do is roll my eyes in a feigned gesture of disgust at being with a couple of
women that lusted after a band like a couple of love sick teenagers. I admit
I am a luster too but I thought it silly to go following them around in

He smiled at us and stopped where he was as Phil , and Sav stepped off the
bus. "Hi ladies." Joe flashed us that sexy smile as he raised his hand to

"Sure." We went over to the other side of the bus away from the curious

you again. Can I call you? We will be on the road for a couple of more
months but the tour ends the the third week of December around the 20th and
I would like to take you out to dinner." I raised my eyebrows at him not
sure if I had heard him right. "Okay, I would like that." I wrote down my
number for him and handed him the slip of paper. He took the paper from me

Joe smiled and took my arm pulling me to the side out of sight of the guys

the
crack in the pavement suddenly fascinating. I laughed sending Ramona into
hysterics. "Okay Julie, and Ramona now that you have had your little joke
can we please go home." Gina looked up at us and smirked before breaking
out
in laughter as she realized that it was actually pretty funny.

"Okay Gina." I turned to Joe. "Thank you guys for being so understanding
and
thanks for a great time." I waved to them and walked with Ramona and Gina
to
the car. "So, Julie just what were you and Joe discussing that was so
private?" Ramona asked grinning wickedly. "That luv is for me to know and
you to never find out." I laughed snickering as Ramona shot me a pleading
look her curiosity overflowing. "Come on let's go." All of us climbed in
the
car and headed for home. The whole way home I thought about that kiss &
looked forward to seeing him when his tour ended.

Two months had dragged by it seemed but it was finally here and I was

outfit and tossed it on the bed. "Julie, you are going out with us and

"Listen I called to wish you a Happy Birthday, and to tell you that I will

into going out with them tonight, but I will do my best to get out of it
early so you and I can have the evening to ourselves." I felt disappointed.

I picked up my purse and the doorbell rang. I opened the door to see Gina
and Ramona standing there with shit eating grins on their faces. "Alright

beer. Some people thought it sounded terrible. A mixture of beer with
tomato
juice. "Okay ladies, you got me out here now spill it. What have you got
planned?" Gina smiled and shot Ramona a knowing look and they giggled. "You
guys are just too wicked. I give up. I guess I will know soon enough." I

The whole way home I had to listen to Gina and Ramona giggling and
