Asheron's Call

Asheron's Call 2

Baldur's Gate (Fighter/Mage/Thief): One of my favorite games. It was the breakthrough for successful Dungeons and Dragons games. Older D&D players will really enjoy it, where newer players may have a big problem adjusting to the older system (2nd editon rules). The storyline is good, so good I actually read the book Baldur's Gate after playing it.
>> Baldur's Gate Tales of the Sword Coast: An expansion of Baldur's Gate. Raises level cap and provides more areas.

Baldur's Gate II (Fighter/Mage/Thief): Even better than Baldur's Gate. It has more options, higher levels, better graphics, and less bugs. It still plays with 2nd edition however, so beware. It's not necessary to have played Baldur's Gate to play this one, but it really helps the storyline if you know what is going on. The story is not as in-depth or as personal as BG. BG seems to be more concentrated on Abdel coming to terms with his status, where BGII is more what lengths other people would go to to be the same as him. Beware the Slayer!

Betryal at Krondor

Ceasar 2

Ceasar 3

Civilization 3 (Babylonians): I enjoyed Civilization 2, and 3 did not dissapoint. The tactics are generally the same, but the computer can be ruthless at times. Civ3 simply adds on to the aspects of being a leader and there are several additional options.

Command and Conquer

Diablo (Warrior): Blizzard's trump card that started a legacy. Online play eventually got greatly out of hand, however.
>> Diablo Hellfire: An expansion of Diablo. Added an extra class and items.

Diablo II (Barbarian): An extreme improvement over Diablo. Provides hours of entertainment... if you like to hack and slash. Has wonderful scenes and a great storyline.
>> Diablo II Lord of Destruction: An expansion of Diablo II. Added two classes and an all new item system.

Dungeon Keeper

Dungeons and Dragons Online

Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall

Elder Scrolls 3: Marrowind

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion

Everquest (Original, Paladin 68): The original EQ.
>> Everquest Ruins of Kunark: This added in a few levels as well as Epics. The introduction of great dragons added raid encounters to the game.
>> Everquest Scars of Velious: The Temple of Veeshan and Sleepers Tomb were the big things here. Both places have felt the edge of my holy blade. Unfortunately I never got to see the Sleeper first hand before my server set it free.
>> Everquest Shadows of Luclin: Vex Thal is the goal of Luclin for any character. The gear here is awesome stuff. Drops are pretty common and come in great amount. You don't need an overly large raid force to farm VT either.

Everquest 2 (Original, Shadowknight 46): Gameplay was better than Everquest, however, what took me roughly three years in EQ1 took me three months in EQ2. Sure it doesn't count going for Vex Thal or a greater portion of the planes, but I had all the equipment and accesses that I was ever going to need. All that was left was to grind to the max level. Grinding isn't fun in EQ2, soloing just for the sheer ability to do so is. Different matter in other MMORPG's it seems for me.

Final Fantasy 11

Fool's Errand

Frogger 2: Took about 5 to 10 minutes to beat.

Goblins 3

Gothic

Gothic 2 (Mercenary): A great adventure game, even if you've never played Gothic 1. The combat style takes a long time to get used to but if you can master it fighting is pretty easy. The game seems to have an unbalanced difficulty. It is hard at the beginning but extremely easy near the end. Traveling around can be a pain if you don't have the right runes.

Grand Theft Auto 3

Halo Combat Evolved: A cool futuristic shoot-em up... lots of shoot-em up. In fact you have to be in love with shooting or have a great amount of patience in order to finish this game. Beware of the flood, they freaked me out at first then just got progressively annoying. Multiplayer mode is a great reason to keep this on your computer.

Heroes of Might and Magic 1

Heroes of Might and Magic 2

Heroes of Might and Magic 3

Heroes of Might and Magic 4

Heroes of Might and Magic 5

Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast: Single player mode is extremely fun and has a worthwhile storyline. It plays out just like all the Star Wars movies right from the beginning. Multiplayer mode is a great reason to keep this installed even after you've beaten it twenty times.

Lode Runner

Lords of Magic

Lords of the Realm 2

Might and Magic 6

Might and Magic 7 (Good Path, Score: 6163): A really fun RPG for those who like the Might and Magic series. Unfortunately the ending takes a bizarre turn that leaves you thinking "I didn't see that coming," or "That's the end?" I enjoyed the entire game except maybe the ending with the spaceship and the... I'm saying too much.

Might and Magic - Swords of Xeen

Might and Magic 4 - Clouds of Xeen

Might and Magic 5 - Darkside of Xeen

Might and Magic 8

Might and Magic 9

Neverwinter Nights (Fighter/Barbarian): The first (and best in my opinion) 3rd edition D&D game on the market. Runs and plays extremely smoothly and easily. Very fun play either alone or with others. The custom map builder takes lots of time to use, but along with the DM tool can be greatly rewarding for an new online experience.
>> Neverwinter Nights Shadows of Undrentide: An expansion of Neverwinter Nights. Adds a few classes and provides an all new campaign setup.

Quest for Glory 5

Railroad Tycoon 2

Return to Krondor

Shattered Lands (Gladiator): One of the early D&D games. Uses dos and is 2D and very buggy. Fun for D&D players.

Siege of Avalon

Sim Ant

Sim City 3000

Sim City 4

Sim Isle

Sim Park

Sim Theme Park

Sim Tower

Starcraft

Stone Prophet

The Sims

Ultima 9 Ascension (Paladin): The ending to the Ultima series. A full 3D world in which you can interact with every object and do anything you want. But as the rest of the Ultima series, the game demands that you play with "virtuous" intent. Thus stealing and murdering will still cause you problems. As the start of Ultima games usually go, you are summoned from a different world to help Britannia. Throughout the storyline it is said that this will be the "last time" and Lord British even begins to realize his own weakness and dependance on the Avatar. As the title suggests, when you job is done in the world of Britannia you ascend to the beyond... which means whatever you were, you're more than that now. It is the final game because he is told he will never return and that, more importantly, Britannia can finally stand on its own. Be sure to patch the game, it has a few nasty bugs that will screw your game data.

Ultima Online

Unreal Tournament

Vampire the Masquerade: The first, that I know of, of the White Wolf games. It doesn't use the classic EXP system but it still seems to work out pretty well. Know what you're getting into before you play this game, it can be difficult in places.
