| The Player Graveyard Jebidiah Strommel: Barbarian Player: Steve Jeb is one of the starting characters. A true frontliner and melee veteran. On numberous encounters he took the damage for the team. He was also known for dealing more damage than delt. Loved to cause chaos, but in the end chose to be the hero. Was killed by Krunk, who Jebidiah fought to the death in an attempt to prove he was the better man. After his death he was sent to the depths of Baator where he bested some of the higher ranking demons and gained himself a place in Hell's ranks. He was then hired by a demon unknown to him (whom was Voltaga) to kill a party of adventurers who were going against his will. Accompanied by a Kaiser monk, he approached the party in Tradegate who he readily figured out was his old adventuring party. After making it clear that he would not slay them, the Kaiser turned on him and slew him in two blows. Christopher Pasheek (Crispy): Sorcerer (Living Soul) Player: Ryan Chris was the first to introduce a sense of magic into the party. His line of thinking was in tune with Jeb's in the fact that he loved to cause havok. However, when the two disagreed it always led to a heated and almost fatal rivalry. Chris died when an unknown person tampered with this spell components which resulted in an explosion costing Chris his life. Jak Knight: Wizard/Fighter Player: Josh A weary magic user that journeys with the party in search of a reason to be. Often attracts bad elements and has many accident happen to him. Has been known to die on several occasions. His spells are very powerful, sometimes even too powerful for him. He met his demise in the Outlands outside the city linked to Mechanus. Dante left his body to fall into the grinder bin in a selfish act of anger. Dante Xavier: Ranger/Sorcerer Player: Shane Brother of Sean Xavier. Dante arrived on the scene soon after Sean was killed and went along with the party to find and kill Salando, the one who killed his brother. After Salando was killed, Dante stayed with the party to continue his brothers crusade and to help those that had helped him. As his adventures went on he lost the support of his comrades and slowly the friendships began to deminish. Finally, in the Outlands, after having an encounter with Construct 26 that resulted in severe injury, the depression finally set in and he killed himself just outside the city of Ribcage. Baki Dare: Fighter (Still Alive in Outlands, city of Glarium) Player: Tarrik Nervous when it comes to combat, but when the heat of battle is already underway he happily goes in swinging with a sadistic grin on his face. A master of weaponry hoping to aspire to his familys tradition. While questing with the party to revive themselves in the 13th city of Glarium, a Kaiser monk nearly killed him dealing mortal damage to a nearby summoned creature. After this event, Baki decided it was too risky to go against the tide of such folk and abandoned the party the following day. Ember: Bard (Still Alive in Material Plane, city of Saarmen) Player: Sandy A writer and scribe. Always keeps track of all the tales and rumors that are heard, and has the ability to recall them at any moment. She found her calling in the city of Saarmen and joined a troupe of performers. Orion: Paladin (Still Alive in Material Plane, city of Blackgate) Player: Zach A paladin from the same order of Sean. The two always try to keep the party in check. After the death of Sean, Orion was the only paladin left. Between the stress of keeping the party on the path of virtue and the church at his heels, he decided to return to Blackgate where he aided in clergy there in many much needed tasks. Dios Mandrake: Sorcerer (Still Alive in Material Plane, city of Blackgate) Player: Steve A wandering arcanist whom always has a panther following him. His spells are the same level as Jaks, and there is always a sense of rivalry. His panther is his loyal companion and always jumps to Dios' aid. Upon his return to the Material Plane after the Tiamat encounter, the world was under the seige of the Order of Helig and the Order of Exsequi. When the party came across the Crimson Pedal and joined up with him to free the city of Kvigmar from the Order of Helig, Dios decided to head toward the unoccupied Blackgate instead. He soon became a well known character in Blackgate and is saught after often for his wisdom. However, Dios' smartass side has not left him and often those that leave after seeing him wonder why he is so well-known. Sahahlik Bloodcall: Fighter (Soul) Player: Tarrik This fighter was placed with the party when they joined up with the Crimson Pedal. They would be considered war buddies, but Sahahlik stayed with the party even past that of the war. His attitude lead to a hatred toward Senra and constant competition with Crym. He felt most at ease with fellow fighter Alexander and the cleric Trinity. An encounter with a psion in the temple of Ankor Wat left only Crym and Sahahlik standing. The psion, seeing an oppurtunity to get himself some time, charmed Sahahlik and faced him against Crym. Already weakened from fighting a charmed Senra, Crym was forced into a rage to survive and killed Sahahlik in a fury. Tred Redstone: Fighter (Unknown) Player: Tarrik One of the Crimson Pedal's right hand men, he was sent to investigate Ankor Wat when it was discovered that they had been there for an exceptionally long time (when in actually they had just gotten lost getting there). He found the party trapped with in the pit in front of Ankor Wat and, being loyal only to the Crimson Pedal, offered to help them out for a price. Upon everyone's return to Kvigmar the Crimson Pedal noticed and moruned the loss of Sahahlik and ordered Tred to take his place. When the Crimson Pedal was slain by Senra, Tred felt no need to stay with the party anymore and departed. Graenge Thunderstrike: Ranger (Kvigmar) Player: Ryan Graenge is one of the few survivors of the Kvigmar incident involving Senra. He was pulled into the inn by Alex as he was running through the streets screaming. After a short inquiry he found out that Senra was traveling with this very same group and became scared very quickly, but the lack of other helpers left him with no choice but to follow them for the moment. They fled Kvigmar and, shortly after, the Kaiser Monk caught Graenge alone and told him lies about how the party was responsible for the massacare of Kvigmar. Alexander and Crym had treated him well for the short time he was with them, so instead of running away he decided to follow them to see if the stories he was told were true. In time he came to realize that the monk was the once responsible for the deaths and sought out to defeat him. When Omniscient killed him he then turned his vengence to Senra, the Blood Angel. When he finally found and, with much effort, killed him, he came to realize that Senra was not directly responsible for his actions and got him resurrected. After a short discussion with Senra, Graenge felt it best to return to Kvigmar to attempt to fix things there. He took with him one half of the bloodstone, in hopes that it would never happen again. Artanis Gemshot: Psion Shaper (Blackgate) Player: Shane A master of the mind. His powers are equivalent to that of a wizard, however he uses his mind to produce such effects instead of magical abilities. He had been imprisoned within the castle that harvested the birth of evil in the depths of the outlands when the party stumbled upon him and rescued him. He had been there so long he had forgoten what day it was. He joined along side the party at first to escape the castle, then decided to stay because he had no where else to go and wish to take part in the quests that the party had undertaken. As the party continued onward they came across an odd fellow named Dalen. He gave them his journal to aid them on their quest and they used it diligently. However, the party later came across another man with the same name and whom used the same weapon. He claimed that he was the real Dalen and that the journal was stolen from him some time ago by someone who used the same weapon as him. He then asked for the journal back or he would report them for having stolen property. As the party discussed what to do and began to lean in the direction of returning the journal, Artanis felt quite attached to the journal and teleported away without and word and with the journal. He teleported away to a place unknown to the party (Blackgate) and changed his name and joined a mining guild. He hid the journal in a safe place so that he could access it at any time. The party later caught up to him and, after much torture, got the location of the journal and retrived it. |
