| Dark Age Enemies Dranan: Doppelganger Brother of Ver. A doppelganger who was not happy with his natural ability to shapeshift and saught to take it a step further. Ver: Doppelganger Brother of Dranan. Xenamech: Mechanical Dragon A large mechanical dragon construct build by Construct 26 for Zek. With Construct 26 at it's side it flew around Cerilia slaying all the dragons. Was used as a vessel, with the help of Construct 26, to allow Zek to become immortal. Construct 26: Clockwork Golem A construct build by Mechanus to aid them in the war against Hell. Was given the brain of a demon to best know his enemy. The end result of the war was a draw, and there is still much hatred between the two. Construct 26 participated in the final battle, but never returned. Appeared on the Material Plane on Cerilia under the command of Zek. Built Xenamech for him and helped him transgress into the machine before opening a portal to Mechanus for unknown reasons. He returned later and came across the party in the Outer Planes, claimed he had laid waste to all of Mechanus and that destroying Automata (the city linking the Outlands and Mechanus) had wiped out anything proving the planes very existance. Nearly ready to destroy himself with his mission complete, Dante charged forth and attempted to slay him, but this ended in dire failure. In a last ditch attempt to save his own life, his words (intentional or not) pursuaded Construct 26 to stay alive because his destruction could go beyond just one single plane. Construct 26 headed toward the city of Tradegate and met the resistance of many skilled gnomes who (after a few casualties) disabled and disassembled him. The party ventured to Tradegate to try to find out who had given him the new commands, however their interrogation was stopped short when Jeb and an assassin (see Kaiser monk) stopped in. The assassin then smashed the remaining piece of Construct 26 before any information was leaked. Zek: Green Dragon An outcast dragon from the Dragonlands seeking revenge. Enlisted the aid of Quicksilver, Tizon, Garieth, and Empyro to either slay or lure the party to him. His failed attempts to kill the party were only part of Zek's plan. The party ventured to the Dragonlands to obtain "Zek's Bane" to kill Zek. Zek, however, knew this was coming and prepared Xenamech to be his vessel. The party killed Zek and his soul drifted into Xenamech just as he had planned, making the bane useless. After Zek was slain in Xenazek's body, his soul was sent to Tiamat and was to be punished for not following her orders. His punishment was to be made into a gnome. He reappeared in the land of Ivoron and the party pursued him for having frozen the Phoenix that lived under the continent. He escaped during a massive battle in the main chamber. The fake Dalen met up with him later to give him the journal for unknown reasons. After doing so Zek escaped once again. It was soon found out that Zek was in leauge with Omniscient and Xalfen. After Xalfen was slain, it was just Zek and Omni. Their plans were going well until an enchanted Green Helmet took control of the magic sucking Omniscient. Zek, in disagreement with the helmet's plans, attempted to twart him but was quickly defeated. The party arrived and defeated Omni. Zek, possibly taking his last chance to escape, spoke to The One before the party could. What he was granted is unknown. Xenazek: Mechanical Dragon Xenamech with the soul and knowledge of Zek. A large fearsome beast by all means. After slaying the party, he took over the continent of Cerilia from the temporary floating Krakenstaur. When the party returned from Ivoran to find Cerilia overcome with lizardmen, they journeyed to slay him. With Voltaga dealing the final blow and showing his true from, Xenazek was slain, and his soul taken to Hell by Voltaga. Quicksilver: Wind Master A henchman hired by Zek. Very fast and has complete control over wind. After being brutally slain by Raul and Jeb he came back a decade later under the control of Exsequi with only revenge in his mind and went after the party in Blackgate. His abilities were topped by the parties tact and was killed. He awaits his third change at vengence. Tizon: Water Master A henchman hired by Zek. Has complete control over water. Garieth: Earth Master A henchman hired by Zek. Can meld into the earth and move it at will. Lost an arm due to Treewave. Empyro: Fire Master A henchman hired by Zek. Shapes and moves fire at will. Can create and destroy it in the blink of an eye. Unfortunatly such power has gone to his head and he has gone somewhat insane. The Blood Angel: Creature of Legend More of an essence than an acutal creature. The "Blood Angel" is created by combining the two pieces of the Bloodstone and pressing them to the chest in a specific way. Wings of blood spread from the users back, it is a very painful process. Afterward the user has full control over any blood within his immediate presence, including that in other people's bodies. However, the longer the stone is embedded within the person, the more chance they have of loosing their mind to the thoughts of the bloodstone, which is pure evil and mayhem. The only way to remove the stone is to die, or split the stone in half while it is within the person. A way has not been found to return the mind of the person once it is consumed due to lack of research on the stone. Voltaga: Lightning Enchanted Vamparic Demon Voltaga began as a normal wizard. He tracked down the parts of the Bloodstone, with many encounters with the party along the way. After being thwarted several times, he finally got both parts and ascended himself to Blood Angel form. After destroying a few cities on Cerilia, the party caught up with him and killed him by slamming the Angelslayer sword upon the stone in his chest, breaking both the sword and the stone killing Voltaga. His soul went to Hell, and it was deemed that he would become one of great power within the realm of evil. He was given a demon body with control over electricity and vamparic powers. He was sent to Ivoran to round up other vampires to kill Zek and bring him to Hell. In the process, he killed Treeweave seeing him as a problem, and almost killed the party, however since he was not allowed permission to do so he could not. So he used them to help him and completed his task slaying Voltaga. He returned to Hell and reported to his master, Lord of the First: Bel. He was still under his command. However, his obsession with the demise of the party for his past took over him. About the time when the party stumbled upon where Voltaga first came from (human form, was from Bedlam in the Outlands and had lost his sanity) he sent henchmen after them. Voltaga left hell for Ribcage (city in Outlands) and took the bodies of the party that were going to be used to resurrect them back to the Material Plane. The party chased him down and killed him in the mayor's building of Ribcage. Later summoned by Exsequi to kill the Helig followers in the party. He was killed shortly after Quicksilver was slain, but his last words told the party that not only would he be back, but their enemies will continue to return. Ragrith: Kaiser Monk A Kaiser is a being from the castle of which all evil was born (below the Outlands). His name and profession are unknown to all, however, because his mouth has been sewn shut for some reason. His martial art abilities shock even the most impressive of masters. Just like all Kaisers, he too has a special blade which is attuned to only his soul. This blade, when swung, extends nearly six feet and returns to its normal eight inch size when the swing is complete. He he has fought the party out of self defense, and thrown many enemies in the direction of the party (bone dragons, summoners, doppelgangers). However, after being put in jail in Sylvania, he freed the party from their cells overnight. He had been taking orders from Voltaga and aided him later in capturing the bodies of the party. He had freed them because Voltaga wanted to kill them himself, but he soon realized that the sooner they were dead the better, and sent other henchmen after them. The party killed them and tracked their bodies to the Outlands city of Ribcage and killed Ragrith. Unlike most souls in the Outlands, however, his body did not dissapear, meaning his soul is still out there somewhere. It was later found out that he did not die because he was an Avatar of Exsequi, and not an ordinary person. He appeared later to Senra when he was cleaning up the remains of an Exsequi shrine and told him to kill the Crimson Pedal if he wished to become an Avatar. Once the task was done he returned and turned Senra into the Blood Angel. Senra is now his puppet, though he has little control. When the party made a second trip toward the Dragonlands, Ragrith was guarding the gate. Through a long planned and tactiful scheme by Omniscient, Omniscient fell Ragrith in a single blow at the gate. Captain Dalen Redshade (2): Unknown A more gruff man who commands a priate ship still to this day. He claims that the other Dalen is a fake and that he is the one responsible for stealing a journal that is really his. He seeks the journal the other Dalen. This Dalen uses the same weapon and is the same build as the other Dalen. The only real difference between the two is their faces. In Blackgate he used the spirit of Crym's wife to trick the party into giving him the journal. The party found him near some lighthouse ruins giving the journal to Zek. He was slain by the party shortly after. |
