1984-Guns N Roses are formed after differnt line up and name changes.(former guitar player Traci Guns left 2 form L.A. Guns-fact).In 1985 Guns N' Roses played their "hell" tour in Europe and Amercia before releasing their first official album on their own label"UZI SUICIDE". The record got big-name record labels intrested in the band and in 1986 Geffen sined them.In 1987 they released Appetite for distruction which went on to sell over 20million copies worldwide. This album was very popular after single's like "sweet child O' mine and Welcome to the Jungle". They supported Aerosmith that year. In 1991 Guns N Roses broke any rumors that they might be breaking up by playing the ROCK IN RIO festivial.The double album Use Your Illussion I and II were released in 1991 following a huge publicity campaign. It payed off, Guns N' Roses sky rocketed to a stadium rock band within a matter of weeks.Between Axls antics and Slashs guitar playing they were quickly picked up as a lovable, enjoyable, dangerous rock group.In 1992 the band kicked off there Use Your Illussion tour at SLANE CASTLE Ireland following the Get in the Ring tour. This tour is better known for its part colaboration between Metallica and themselves for the U.S. leg. This co-headling tour took in around 25 arenas in North Amercia. Both bands fought te whole way through the tour until the tensions came to a maximun when James Hetfeild walked into a 20ft high tower of flame hot enough to melt metel during "Fade to Black" at the olympic stadium in Montreal. The singer was rushed to hospital while the remaning members(Larz, Jason and Kirk) apologised to the crowd and promised to come back later on in the year. Two hours after the incident Guns N' Roses took the stage to start a three hour set when after 15 minutes Axl said a brief anti-gnr comment into the microphonr befroe throwing it at the ground and walking off-stage. This caused a huge riot and thats it relly. The tour is over, guns N roses disapear. Izzy persues a solo carrer in 1998, Duff left in 1997 to do the same, Slash left in 1996 after axl was fired for 3 days before buying the rights to the GN'R name, Matt left in 1995,I think. Dizzy and Axl are the only 1991-1994 members left. Robin Finick former NIN guitarst took Slashs place and BUCKETHEAD Primus touring guitar'st also joined.Guns N' Roses played this years Rock In Rio festival (1991 and 2001 any simalarities also axls age 29 and 39 ?) their new album and first since 1993's speggti incident THE CHINESE DEMOCRACY is due out in June to co-incide with ther first u.k. dates in 7 years.
