Cassandra Cain was trained early in her life, to follow in her father�s footsteps as an assassin. And she is deadly. She first appeared as an ally of Oracle�s, the original Batgirl, and proved to be a most loyal and effective ally.
During this time, a new Batgirl was appearing. Her identity was unknown at first but later revealed to be The Huntress. She was welcomed on the condition she conformed to the rules set by Batman; she didn�t meet these standards and disgraced the mantle.
Cassandra soon came under the eyes of Oracle and Batman. She managed to save Oracle�s father, Jim Gordon, life twice from the lethal Two-Face and was the natural successor to the mantel of Batgirl, or The Bat as Huntress went under the name of.
The young Cassandra has the vital attributes of Batman. She can appear and disappear in silence, and combines her deadly martial arts to her fighting skills. Although she wrestles with her inner demons of her life and original purpose as an assassin, and this haunts and probably drives her in her life as Batgirl.
For some reason Cassandra can not speak, all though it seems, and this ads to her silent mystique. She recently was given her own Bat Cave by Batman, but she lives her life now as Batgirl and is only there to rest.
