| War is the extention of politics, and it is always the last alternative option among all the political solutions. Once a war should happen, the outcome will hurt all the parties entangled into the military exercises. Wars are so cursable because they insults humanities and make people even lower than animals. However, the preparation of war, euphemisitically called national defence, is the necessary evel which all nations must accept. If any nation neglects this, the Persian Gulf episode will reoccur in another form. |
| To the policies there must be the corresponding goals to be fulfilled via the proper strategies. Then, the commanders must know how to implement the strategies by choosing correct tactics. Anyway, to excute the operations a commander must have very a firm mind to put the plans in effect. Some may argue that this does not show one's wisdom but one's stubbornness. However, a commander of less wisdom but a stronger mind can easily defeat another commander of very abundant wisdom but not insisting. |
