LEONIS PRIDE BATHTUB FUN
Bath time can be fun as well as educational. Our tub often becomes a quiet pond or a raging ocean. Imagination is endless. We blow bubbles, sing silly songs, make up even sillier songs, learn numbers & letters & shapes, paint, pour, mix colors, etc, etc, etc.
Most of these ideas can be used in other places as well as the bathtub. So be creative & have fun!
For each bathtub experience, the kids usually grab a few bathtub friends like dinosaurs, frogs, ocean creatures, jungle animals, ducks, etc, which always enchants our play as well as washes the toys!!!
                                            FINGER PAINT
1. If you want to save their masterpiece, have kids press a paper against the painting & pat , then peel off. Then give kids wash rags to clean off paint, drain tub, & then have a bubble bath.
2. You can also play identify games. Letters, numbers, etc.

             
                                     RIBBONS:
use various lengths. Wet them & create shapes, numbers, letters, etc.
1. Have your child identify them & copy them side by side with their own ribbon.
2. Say a letter, shape, number, etc. & have your child make it.
3. Have your child make & you identify.
                              TEA TIME:
1. Make a pot of herbal tea or give each child a herbal tea bag.
2. Provide measuring cups & spoons & different size containers.
3. Children pour, fill, sip, & learn.
