The mission of the Newport Cultural Center, home of the Public Library and the Historical Society & Museum, is to enhance the cultural life of its patrons through access to educational, historical and recreational resources, as well as to preserve Newport's heritage. The creation of this website is an extension of its mission statement through electronic means.
