| ENCLOUSURES: this is probably one of the best parts of the gecko making his/her enclousure into something that looks great. I prefer a living space that looks good and that i bet would please your gecko more. In the aquarium you should have 1.tank 2.substrate(im not getting into that again!!) 3.water dish( it does not have to be very large) 4.hiding area/s(i prefer to have one in the warm end and one in the cold end) 5.basking area(nothing too glamourous just a piece of rock flaton the substrate) 6.live or fake plants( I have seen leos that climb ontop of artifical plants and sleep there) I will warn you leopard geckos aren't cheap. I had my gecko for 7 months and it cost me $300.00 canadian, I went for the more pricey route. Look at some pictures of the areas where leos come from they will "give you insparation". |
