| Mary Louisa Aldia Chartier was born to Augustine Chartier and Julia Eudolie Seguin on February 27, 1881 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was one of thirteen children. The family eventually moved to Marquette, Michigan. Known as Aldia, she married Antoine Dionne on June 19, 1900 in Marquette. Together they had 15 children. After celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1950, Antoine died a year later. Aldia died on June 6, 1954 in Marquette and is buried at the Holy Cross Cemetery. |
