| A wandering enigma, known to most by his lost tribe's deity, Fermentingpig travles throught the land of Vana'diel. He sings of his misadventures in hunting through the dank, miserable depths of the Maze of Shakrami, the mysterious corridors of Ordelle's Caves, and the eerily cold aura of the Gusgen Mines. The depth of feeling in his music stems from the atrocities done unto him by the "Higher Power". He lost his identity on the fateful day in the Jungles of Elshimo. He was vanquishing the villainous Goblins from the dense thicket of Yhoator, when he suddenly fell unconscious. He awoke in a small, musty room no larger than the average Mog House. After calling into the emptiness for several moments, a disembodied voice echoed through the small space. "You have been convicted of crimes against the Great Deity" the voice told him, "No longer shall you be known as the much beloved Red mage Arsehole, but now as the forlorn and lonesome Bard, Fermentingpig". Unable to plead his case, he accespted his new fate with fierce determination. Trudging through the rocky landscape of Gustaberg, outside his home city of Bastok, he honed his vocal and instermental skills, later furthering his training in the arid heat of Valkurm and frigid tundra of Qufim Island. To this day nobody knows his true origins, they are forever lost in the notes that he begrudgingly lets forth to the world. | ||||||||||||||
