Programmes at a glance.         July -2006

1. Joint Meeting was held in the club for the discussion of programmes of 2006-2007 by Lions And Leo Club.   

 

2.    Installation:-    Joint installation ceremony of Lions Club of Rajdhanwar & Leo club of Rajdanwar  was organized on 9th july. PDG Ln. Arpana Roywas the installation officer. Ln. S. Suman, Ln. R.P. Sariya and officers from Lions Club Bagodar, Govindpur and Sariya were also present on that occasion.

      August-2006

1.    One minute silence and other programs were organised to pay tribute to the vicitims of Hiroshima Atomic explosion on Hiroshima Day (6th August).

 

2.    Around 50 plants of fruit trees were planted in the campus of Local High School in the presence of the Lions club President Mr. Shivnandan Shaw and Principal, High School.

 

3.    Our 4 members participated in the Joint Installation Program of Dist: 322A, Organised in RANCHI.

 

4.    On the Occasion Of Independence Day:-

September-2006

 

1.    Two Retired Teachers ware honored with a Shaul and Honor letter on the occasion of Teacher's Day (5 Sep) By the Lions Club of Rajdhanwar nad Leo CLub of Rajdhanwar jointly.

 

2.    The Renovation of a Water Tank to provide Fresh Water for the Villagers done in the Campus Of Local Weekly Market and the Maa Durga Temple. Mr. Ln. Manoj Kumar, B.D.O., Govindpur was present as the Chief Guest of the Program.

October-2006

1.    "May, I help You?" Camp was organized in the Local Durga Puja Fare. Our Members Helped the Organisers of the Puja in Maintaining Law and Order in the Fare.

 

2.    A Lucky Draw "DHANTERAS DHAMAKA" was organised to raise funds for the help of Disabled and helpless persons of the area.

 

3.    Id-Milan Program was Organised by Leo Tauklir Alam in which Local M.L.A. Rabindra Kr. Ray was also present.

 

4.    Two new members were introduced in the Club.

 

November-2006

1.    Two-days Drinking Water facility was provided on the Pious Occasion Of CHHATH PUJA (Worship of lord Sun).

2.    Our members helped CHHATH PUJA Organisers in maintaing peace and security of the devotees.

 

3.    EYE-CHECK UP Camp was Organised in A Primary school of a remote area, in which 180 students were examined and medicine disributed to the needy students.

December-2006

1.    An AIDS Awareness Rally was organised by the Lions Club, Leo Club and a local School children to make people aware of the deadly disease on World Aids Day.

 

2.    Members-introducing  party was organised on 31st December.
