| Participation in 7th District Convention,
29th May 2004 |
On
29th of May 2004, 7th District Convention of District 325-A was held at
Academy hall, Kamaladi. Lions Clubs and Leo Clubs throughout Nepal participated
in this convention. Our club also actively participated in the convention.This
was the first participation of our club in any District level concention.
The convention
started with a parade starting from Basantapur, Durbar Square at arround
7:30 am. Display of Banners was part of it. The club banners of our club
was centre of attraction.
The convention
was scheduled for many sessions which included meetings, discussions,
Q&A, voting etc. The voting session was the most tense one. Our club
members actively participated in most of the sessions. Leo Bal Krishna,
Leo Dibesh, Leo Gautam, Leo Sita, Leo Shristi, Leo Shree Krishna were
present through out the day.
The convention elected
Lion Sushma Sharma Lama as the District Governer and Lion Viswo Ram Gorkhali
as District Vice Governer for Lions District 325-A. Similarly Leo Saurav
Shrestha was elected District President and Leo Bidhan Joshi was elected
District Vice President for Leo District 325-A. |
