This
was the day Leo Club of Kathmandu Capital officially came into existance.
The inauguration ceremony was held at Him Thai Restaurant, Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
On the same day, ie 10th April 2004, induction of the members was also
completed.
The chief guest for the ceremony was District Governor Lion Rubaya Nath Koirala who inaugurated the club. Other Distinguished guests for the ceremony were PMJF Lion Hari Shankar Niraula, Sponsoring Club president Lion Dhan Raj Bhadel, Lion Prof. Govinda Narayan Jyapoo, Lion Bijaya Shrestha, Lion Padam Raj Kafle, Lion Madan Basnet, Lion Shanta Niraula, Leo District Council Precident Leo Khagendra Upreti, Leo Rakesh Agrawal , Leo Anil Belbase and others.
In the same programme, DP Leo Upreti briefed the newly inducted Leo members about history, rule and regulation of Leo.
This day, 10th April 2004, will be remembered by every Capitalians because it is the "Birth Day".
