Does Burori Have a Tail?
While it is obvious that Chibi Burori has a tail in Movie #8 and that the Burori Clone has a tail in Movie #11, it is not so obvious that he either does or doesn't have a tail in Movies #8 and #10. There are several considerations which make it difficult to distinguish whether Burori has retained his tail over the years or if it has been removed.
1. Saiya-jins tend to wrap their tails around their waists. If Burori did have a tail, he could have wrapped it around his waist and kept it under the red scarf he wears.
2. The tail is the "source of power" for a saiya-jin. And since Burori is so strong, it would seem to suggest that he does have a tail.
If he didn't have a tail, he might not have been so strong as he was in Movies #8 and #10. Although these points argue in favor of Burori having a tail, there are weighty objections to them.
1. If Burori wraps his tail around his waist, then why doesn't he keep it outside of his clothing like all of the other saiay-jins do who have tails?
2. If Paragus forsaw a problem with controlling his son, wouldn't he cut off Burori's tail in order to try to limit his son's insane power?
3. Burori was born with a 10,000 combat rating. Really, what's cutting his tail going to do to him when he's that strong already? Burori could have gotten his tail cut off and still remained extremely powerful.
4. The fact that the Burori Clone (who does have a tail) is defeated in one movie rather than in two movies as the real Burori was only says that Trunks, Goten, and Krillin got more powerful since the last time they fought Burori and/or since the Burori Clone never got to use his powers (he was in a tank all his life) he is actually weaker than the real Burori.
Well, anyway, those are my thoughts on this topic. As you can read, I haven't convinced myself one way or another. But, with any luck, you will have no such problem.
