What is the Nature of Burori's Insanity?
This thought occured to me as I was pondering the exact nature and cause of Burori's insanity. It may seem fairly obvious to some, but I will post it anyway, just to see what sort of reactions people feel inclined to leave in reply on the message board.
How is it we are absolutely sure that Kakarotto's crying drove Burori insane? Originally, I thought that the noise Kakarotto made in the nursery (probably because he was hungry, Goku does have the universe's deepest stomach) was the tigger for Burori's already over-taxed mind (a 10,000 combat rating is nothing to sneeze at, that's got to put a strain on a baby's brain) to snap.
But look at Paragus. That saiya-jin's cheese sure as heck has done slid off his cracker. The man CREATES A PLANET in order to lure the son of King Vegeta to it so that Paragus can extract his revenge for the poor treatment he suffered at the hands of the king. Gee, that's not fixation! *rolls eyes* It seemed to me that Paragus fixates on King Vegeta and his family (remember he invites Trunks to come with them to New Vegeta by saying, "You're Prince Vegeta's son? You're welcome to come, too, Trunks" which tells me that he'd like to wipe out the entire royal family forever as a payback) like Burori fixates on Kararotto and his family.
What is my point? Well, the insanity could be hereditary rather than being grounded in Burori's extreme power. And one could support this with the fact that Paragus isn't nearly as powerful as his son, but they're both a taco short of a combination platter. Furthermore, they aren't indiscriminately enraged. They both have very specific triggers that set off their insanity. So, if Burori ever had had a child, that kid might have a pretty good chance of being insane as well. Although, what he/she would fixate on is anybody's guess.
