Guidelines for Submitting Visual Works of Art
You've got a totally sweet picture you want to share with the rest of the Burori Fan World? Super. Please send them along to me, but read these few short rules first:
1. Image and file size is very important. Please make these masterpieces managable. I ask that the image itself be no more than 800 pixels x 800 pixels. Anything larger than this (unless it's a desktop wallpaper) is not going to fit on most computer screens and people will have to scroll to view the pic. This is a pet peeve of mine. The ideal size in something like 400 pixels high x 550 pixels wide or less.
File size and format is the next topic of discussion. The file size should be 200 kb or less. There are people out there with ancient computers (like me) who shouldn't be denied the right to instant Burori Fan Art viewing. So let's keep the pics loading at a speedy pace. If you have extenuating circumstances, email me and let me know what the situation is. Also, I'd appreciate it if your pic is in .JPG, .JPEG, .GIF, or .BMP format. Again, if you have questions, feel free to contact me (see below).
2. Absolutely no pornograghy. This is a public site and I don't want to be responsible for corrupting a generation of Burori and DBZ fans. If you have a piece that is questionable (i.e., it's probably not fit for a PG audience), please discuss it with me.
(I'm not trying to restrict creativity here, I'm just trying to be a responsible adult. If your fan art basically follows the same content as Toriyama's DBZ art, then there won't be a problem. But if there are adult situations [e.g., sex], extreme violence [e.g., beheadings], etc, in the piece I will probably not be able to post it. But if you do have a piece you really like but think is too risque, email me anyway. We might work something out. Maybe.)
If you'd like to send that e-mail along introducing yourself and your work, please use the Feedback Form.
